In winter, snow chains or four-wheel drive are a good investment if you want to go up to the house.

The house has a good location with a beautiful view. The house had everything you need for a good housekeeping. A small, crowded sitting room with a TV where only the free satellite channels could be seen: German channels with ...

The house has a good location with a beautiful view. The house had everything you need for a good housekeeping. A small, crowded sitting room with a TV where only the free satellite channels could be seen: German channels with a lot of advertisements.
Old plastic flowers were prominent, as were the old Readers Digest books.
The décor was very dated and overcrowded.
From the living area down 2 flights of stairs to get to the basement where there are 3 rooms for 5 people. A bathroom with toilet was missing there.
However, there was a room with a soft mattress and a conservatory door that gave direct access to the terrace.
The price-quality ratio is correct in our opinion.
It would be good to mention that this house is absolutely not suitable for people who have difficulty walking. Unfortunately, we did not know this. We left earlier because climbing stairs became too hard for 1 of us.
Our advice: create a shower with toilet in one of the storage rooms in the basement and get everything out of the house that is superfluous.
Then we will be happy to use your house again.

Lovely house, cozy. Furnishing a bit dated but that doesn't matter. The double beds are fairly hard but comfortable thanks to a topper. We were there in winter, but we have not been cold thanks to the warm duvets, the central heating and the wood stove. A manual of the CV would have been handy, we had to search a bit with that. The house is nicely located about half an hour's drive from the larger slopes and close to castles, the zoo (under renovation in early 2020!) and the rocks of Adrspach. Absolutely recommended for this price.
