A beautiful holiday home with a super nice pool. The view is amazing! There are plenty of seats and sunbeds everywhere. The disadvantage is the entrance to the swimming pool. Also, I wouldn't go here with small children. But with older children and anyone who is able to walk. do! The owner is very friendly.

If you like the peace and quiet, an ideal place. The landlady is great, cooked for us and made fresh pasta with us.
She is a real mom who you can ask anything, we miss her already.

Ideal for holidaymakers who mainly want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the house. Tourists who want to visit a city in Tuscany or Umbria every day should sit at Lake Trasimeno. We even got permission to set up a tent in the garden to shoot beautiful pictures for our website. There is so much space around the house that you can even set up scavenger hunts for the kids! Seen wildlife every day. In short: highly recommended!

Those who love peace and quiet and a panoramic view a little further from civilization are at the perfect place. The house is a little higher up the hill and you have a beautiful view over the mountains and the valley. The house is very practically furnished and everything is available. You will not be short of anything in terms of household goods, towels and appliances. The panoramic swimming pool is large and you can certainly swim a few laps, it is not only a cooling pool, on the contrary, rarely have such a large private pool. In addition, 5 stars to the owner who is very discreet but also helpful and for whom nothing is too much to ask. She even comes to your home to cook on request or is willing to do some shopping. Cortona is a very sympathetic location and also in the area there is so much (Peruggia - Siena - San Gemignano - Montepulciano - Trasimeno) to visit within a radius of a maximum of 1 hour drive. We also think Pienza is worth a visit. The road up is easy to do. Less than a 10-minute drive away you have a supermarket - butcher - pharmacy and very tasty bakery.

Location of the pool is great and you will not forget the view, only small downside is the path between house and pool, which is 50 meters higher than the house, this could be better.
It would be great if these friendly and helpful people could make a small outdoor kitchen with refrigerator and/or toilet by the pool, so that you don't have to go up and down with the (present) cooler every time.

Een sfeervol huis op een unieke plek. Een geweldig uitzicht. zonsopgang en zonsondergang elke dag een belevenis. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse. In het dorpje Mercatale is alles te krijgen wat je dagelijks nodig hebt. De 3 km lange zandweg naar beneden vonden wij geen echt probleem, gezien de voordelen van de prachtige ligging. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
