Everything you could wish for during a holiday.
Location and amenities are superb. Everything is well taken care of and sweet involved hostess who makes you feel at home. In the middle of nature where you will encounter foxes and wild boars. Enough freedom and space with family 0f group.

We have been in the house for two weeks with a newborn baby and it was wonderful. Lots of privacy and the house is equipped with all facilities. Elsa is very sweet! She brought us some tasty things such as homemade olive oil, fresh eggs from the chickens, truffles. We enjoyed it!

Elsa is a very good and cordial hostess. Beautiful location and lovely, large pool. Bit secluded : the nice towns at least half an hour away. Difficult, steep, winding, bumpy access road. Good car required. Groceries close by

House sits in a nice location; good base to discover both Tuscany and Umbria. Friendly sweet hostess. The road to the house was added during the week of our stay and has now become a well-maintained gravel path.

Very rural location with fantastic views, especially from the higher swimming pool with lots of privacy. Cozy living room, even in bad weather what we had a nice stay. The bad unpaved access road of 3 km is a disadvantage. Especially in the dark reason for us not to leave in the evening. Owner only seen 1 time briefly.

Casa Girasole is an attractive Italian holiday home where everything is there! The owner Elsa and her family are very friendly, welcoming and very helpful! The pool is large and clean and has a beautiful view. You can relax in the shade and sunbeds. Tip: take a cooler with you so you don't have to go back and forth to the house every time for your cold drink!
Around the house you can sit and enjoy the view, there is a good chance that you will see some wild animals passing by. The kitchen is so extensively equipped that you can never go wrong with crockery or glassware, even spices, oil etc. Nice large fridge with freezer!
Due to the location of the house you are dependent on the car, it is a steep climb up that takes you about 10 minutes but then you have a fantastic holiday home! Keep in mind that Lake Trasimeno with surrounding villages is not far from the house, but because of the curves on the mountain pass it will take you longer. In the nearest village of Mercatale you have a bakery, small supermarket and restaurants. Here you can find delicious bread, your small groceries and good food! We enjoyed it very much with children, family and friends!

A great place to stay with fantastic views. The place is well equipped and everything is available to have a holiday without concerns. The pool is beautiful and gives a splendid view on the valley.

A great place to stay with fantastic views. The place is well equipped and everything is available to have a holiday without concerns. The pool is beautiful and gives a splendid view on the valley.
Only thing that you need to take into mind is that you need to take some time to see the surroundings. It takes 1h to 1h30 to get you to the fantastic region of Toscany/Umbria, but it will bring you all the joy you need.
The host is fantastic! The welcome and the warmth of the family is more then you can wish.
