We immediately felt at home in the cottage and had a great time, partly thanks to the beautiful weather. We cycled and walked in the beautiful surroundings and enjoyed the peace and quiet on the estate.

As always, we enjoyed this beautiful place in Kessel. Many times we have wondered what the estate would look like covered in snow. From experience, we can now say: beautiful.

As always, we enjoyed this beautiful place in Kessel. Many times we have wondered what the estate would look like covered in snow. From experience, we can now say: beautiful.
Many birds were busy building a nest and flew back and forth. We had sprinkled food on the millstone, the table, and in the birdhouse, and we were short of eyes to see them going back and forth. At the conservatory we had brushed the dog and hid the hair a little bit between the greenery and the stones. The great were happy with it and took the hair with them in their nesting boxes. What a beautiful sight.
We have had three visits from pheasants, a heron came to the vicinity and three hares dared to cross through the garden. The ducks in the pond completed the picture.
The day of departure we briefly met the landlords, very nice to meet them.

Had a wonderful week in a wintry 'Land in Kessel'. Because of the snow we couldn't really go outside but with enough food, a few bottles of wine and good books it was wonderful to stay in this cozy house.

It is a super nice house, in nature. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

A wonderful place for those who love peace and quiet!

It was the third time this year that we went to Kessel and again we had a great week. What a special place and a lovely house it is. The trees in beautiful autumn colors and beautiful mushrooms everywhere, most of the species w...

It was the third time this year that we went to Kessel and again we had a great week. What a special place and a lovely house it is. The trees in beautiful autumn colors and beautiful mushrooms everywhere, most of the species we didn't know at all. And every day we discovered new ones. The dog loved the pond again and walked into it at least ten times a day, she couldn't get away from it.
We also went to the Heldense forests twice to enjoy the scents and colors. We were lucky with the weather so we could sit on the porch and enjoy the garden. What we also like so much is that we often see (small) changes in and around the house.
This is done with love, passion and taste.
We had picked up a few chestnuts, acorns and leaves on the grounds and in the forest and made autumn naps out of them at home. We think back to Kessel every day.

I think for the fifth time I have heard of the peace and quiet at the Land van Kessel. So nice that pets are allowed. It was great again.

A nice, bright house, admittedly old, but equipped with all modern conveniences. The glass walls and covered porch make it extra fun. You'll feel right at home here.
