Due to the high altitude, it is a bit of a combination of trips and shopping. Beautiful surroundings, nice trips. But above all, in peace and quiet by the pool.
It's a pity that the plants have grown so much, this takes away the view a lot.
Tip? A toaster and a new mattress on the steel ...

Beautiful and comfortable house in a magnificent place. Great views of Mount Etna. Only the drive there was a thing, very steep, exciting. Fortunately, the caretaker drove ahead of Samuel. After a few times, it was no longer an issue.
One minus, the water in the pool was very cold despite it being September.

The surroundings are so beautiful, that the details of the house are less important. Although these are good too. We had less hot weather and therefore the pool was a bit on the chilly side.

What a cozy (traditional Dutch) house, almost on top of the mountain. Idyllic place with lots of privacy. In terms of facilities, everything you need for a southern European holiday is available. Getting to the cottage is sometimes not an easy task (especially because of the condition (asphalt) of the access road, so we have always linked the trips to shopping, and a reason why we chose to stay a lot at the beautiful cottage, which was really not a punishment! A tip perhaps: Prune the natural vegetation (trees) slightly, making the view (pool terrace and balcony) of Mount Etna even more breathtaking.

Lovely quiet place where you can relax and use as a base for walks and beach/city visits. The view from the house is well worth the drive up and down.
A pizza shovel and brush with the pizza oven would be nice.

Unique location, fantastic view, complete silence, beautiful nature. Nice that salt, pepper, coffee/tea, etc. are available in the kitchen upon arrival.

We had a great time! Unfortunately, the weather was disappointing, but due to the nice location of the house (read very beautiful view) it was not a punishment not to be able to go out. A place to relax, it is incredibly quiet!...

We had a great time! Unfortunately, the weather was disappointing, but due to the nice location of the house (read very beautiful view) it was not a punishment not to be able to go out. A place to relax, it is incredibly quiet! The house is a short drive from several villages/towns, but after a few times up and down the mountain you get used to it. All in all, highly recommended if you really want to relax on holiday.
