Wifi is fast in all rooms and outside on the terras/poolside. Recommendable to bring some food/ drinks when arrival is Saturday late. Small but great Supermarket/Shop is nearby in village, though closed on Sunday

Not much entertainment in the immediate vicinity, but that's not what we came for.

Beautiful house in a very nice area, especially if you are fond of peace and privacy.
Not much entertainment in the immediate vicinity, but that's not what we came for.
Downhill to the beach or a larger supermarket is about half an hour away and the views along the way are beautiful.
We took a lot of groceries with us at Lidl on the way there, so we didn't have to get something every day. In the house there is plenty of (fridge and freezer) space to store.
It is a complete house and we did not miss anything. In fact, we have already booked the next holiday!

Stayed in this cottage for the second time for 3 weeks and liked it as much as last time. Nice cottage, lovely pool and that tranquility.... Fantastic after a busy year.

What a beautiful villa with an even more beautiful view. Even for spoiled travelers like us, it is a pleasure here with a capital "G".
Everything you need is there. Good base for visiting all kinds of cities, nature reserves, caves, eateries and beach. (At restaurant Mirador de la Axarquia they serve the best prawns pil pil in the whole Malaga region, according to our 15-year-old son.)
Or you can just relax in or by the pool or the villa itself. Due to the altitude, there are almost no mosquitoes, which is also very nice. We have experienced the contact with the helpful and extremely friendly owners as very pleasant. Lots of privacy, which is also very important to us. The roads are fine, at most the very last part to the villa (5 minutes) might be exciting for people who are not used to driving in the mountains. Don't worry, others will step aside for you.
We picked up our rental car at Malagacar.com. We are satisfied with that. A van that runs constantly between the car rental company and the airport will pick you up from the parking lot on the far left when you come out of the arrivals hall of the airport. Choose the 'Full Pack' formula in advance, where the risks are covered and you are helped with priority. A free 2nd driver is included in the full-pack package.
Comares itself is authentic, you imagine yourself in the last century. In the village, for example, you can buy woven baskets, which residents make themselves. The shop in the village has a wide range of products at good prices. We would definitely like to come back to Comares and are already homesick...

Villa Amarilla is a wonderful house for a carefree holiday. It is beautifully situated overlooking the Moorish village of Comares, the sea and the valley of Benemargosa full of avocado trees. Due to the high altitude, there is almost always a cooling breeze. The house is quiet and you can easily look up the liveliness. Malaga and Velez Malaga are easy to reach, as is the beach. In Velez you will find a large, extensive supermarket, but the small supermarket in Comares also has a surprisingly large range. The house is equipped with all comforts. Good beds, an extensive kitchen inventory, a large and small bathroom, plenty of bed linen, towels and beach towels, plenty of seating outside, a comfortable seating area inside. Absolutely great!

What a wonderful place to spend your holiday! Peace, space, a good swimming pool and everything else is present in and around the house. Owners are very easy to reach and there is a quick response to questions.
