Had a great stay at Villa Pampa. A beautiful location and a beautiful spacious Villa with all amenities. Much has been written about the road to get there. The first time there in the dark was a challenge. Furthermore, we had no contact with the owner during our stay. Wasn't necessary, but personally, as a landlord, I would have made contact to see if everything is in order.

We have stayed in both villa Pampa and villa Comares. Both houses had advantages and disadvantages. Villa Pampa is very remote, it is absolutely not recommended to arrive in the dark, the landmarks as described in the itinerary...

We have stayed in both villa Pampa and villa Comares. Both houses had advantages and disadvantages. Villa Pampa is very remote, it is absolutely not recommended to arrive in the dark, the landmarks as described in the itinerary are easy to miss. The bumpy dirt road is also really not nice to drive in the dark, especially not the first time. The view from the house is phenomenal, we found the distance to a large supermarket a real disadvantage. A 45-minute drive is impossible for us Dutch, you'd better stock up on a big one right away. The small supermarket in Comares is 15 minutes away and they have a surprising amount of happiness there.
For children it is ideal that there is a gate to the pool and everything you need for a little one is available, which was great. We have not seen the baby monitor that would be there, so keep that in mind. Upstairs it was quite warm, but the room downstairs is doable. Beds are okay but not fantastic. Kitchen was well equipped but unfortunately all the crockery was dirty when we arrived. The dishwasher also smelled terrible, as if it had been closed for weeks. Not nice after a long journey, but fortunately solved by running it on hot program once. Some mosquito nets were broken and were attached with tape, this could be renewed. Fortunately not in the room we used. The pool was not very clean, the chlorine tablets that we had to replenish ourselves in the pool were not present, after a message they were brought. The bottom was especially not clean, we had the idea that it was not vacuumed weekly. That was a pity.
All in all, we had a good stay, but you shouldn't expect perfection or overly luxurious.
Contact with Bienvenido went smoothly via whatsapp, which was nice.

Had a wonderful week, great place with beautiful views. Fully equipped, our 3 kids could not get out of the pool, even though the temperature of the water was a bit chilly. Definitely worth repeating!
