Had a great holiday in this beautiful holiday home. Everything was there and especially the many children's toys were appreciated. Our almost 3-year-old daughter enjoyed the trampoline. In the garden we have made frequent use of the veranda where it is wonderful to stay.
The area offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and the coast is also not far away. In short, highly recommended to go on holiday in this cottage.

The holiday home is located in a tiny, quiet and picturesque village in a not so touristy area. As a result, it is sometimes a long drive to a good restaurant or a good bakery. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, that is. ...

The holiday home is located in a tiny, quiet and picturesque village in a not so touristy area. As a result, it is sometimes a long drive to a good restaurant or a good bakery. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, that is.
The house has a large, rather steeply sloping garden that can only be reached by stairs. A nice place for small children to romp around, but not practical for an older couple. Even when the weather is nice, there is a threshold to eat outside, for example.
The house has everything, what you need, but its implementation is very basic. This was certainly the case for the sanitary facilities, which we think are outdated. It is not clear from the photos that the kitchen door opens onto the street, so it is not obvious to leave it open. The photo suggests that you can enter the garden from the kitchen.
The TV didn't work. There may have been fiddling with the connections by previous tenants, but there was no one available who could solve the problem, Attempts were made for this, by the landlord and some villagers.
The bedrooms are spacious, and especially the double bed had good mattresses.
Finally, and this is in fact what bothered us the most: we found the house gloomy, the furniture cumbersome and uncomfortable and it was damp and musty. When we got home, our clothes still smelled of the damp in the house. Even after frequent airing, the air did not disappear.

Attractive house with large garden with a beautiful view. Located in a small and quiet village from where you can easily reach the coast and interesting cities in the area, such as Amiens with its cathedral, historical sites of WWI and the nature of the Somme basin. The owner, who was also there for a few days, is very friendly without being intrusive.
