We are Miek and Christian, Belgians who, after renting a gîte on the border with Baarle-Nassau for 3 successful years, have lost our hearts to the beautiful village of Sonnac-sur-l'Hers in the south of France. We bought an old mansion here in 2024, followed by a gîte. This was previously operated as a B&B and Gîte Chez la maison bleue. We have been renting out the gîte since Easter 2024. We will move permanently to France in the spring of 2025 and will run 3 B&B rooms from then on.
