We had rented the apartment Uccellino. Is very clean and fully furnished. Landlord Luca is a nice guy and very helpful. Beautiful location to unwind. Apartment can be reached via a mountain road of 600 meters. The road to this mountain road is also narrow and steep. Takes half an hour to get to off-peak, but 1 time a day is too do.

Lovely location, view of the valley (with sunset!), beautiful old Italian house with a good atmosphere and everything is there in terms of furnishings. fantastic host (and hostess), nice exit for all kinds of fun days out (Florence, Siena, Chianti region etc). Nice to be able to support the host Luca financially with becoming self-sufficient instead of bringing this to a large chain. Feels like home when Enzo (the dog) welcomes you. Furthermore, there are many hiking opportunities from the house.
Tips: don't forget anything when shopping ;), the road to the Borgo from the village is a bit adventurous and takes about 20 minutes. You get used to it quickly, it becomes easier and easier to drive.
Conclusion: for everyone who goes for peace and quiet and space, this is the place to go. A wonderful oasis where good people try to make a nice place a little better.

Lovely place to completely unwind. The friendly owner Luca is very helpful and knows a lot about the area and the history of the house. The beds are fine and so are the sanitary facilities. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to have breakfast and dinner outside every day. The kids loved the animals (cats, hedgehogs and of course Enzo the super sweet dog). The table tennis table was used a lot by us and the pool is bigger than you think and great to cool off. The last stretch of road to the house is unpaved and quite bumpy. The distance to the nearest supermarket also means that you have to think carefully when shopping. You won't go back to get a forgotten item so quickly. There is a vegetable garden that we were allowed to use. You can also go for a nice walk in the neighborhood and maybe the dog will walk with you.
