About Wiel Zautsen

We are Mientje and Wiel. We are both retired. We bought the 'house' last year. House is here in quotation marks because it actually concerns a complex consisting of a main house, a guest house and a smaller building that we later want to turn into a studio.
A Spanish family lived in the house and built it in 1990. The family consists of 3 children (2 boys and a girl) ranging in age from 13 to 22 years. Despite the fact that the house was well maintained, we still had a lot of work to do and installed an automatic irrigation system. Our intention is to also rent out the studio and guesthouse, perhaps from next year, but at the moment we don't think it is suitable for that. This year we only rent out the main house Villa Sorpresa. Sorpresa means amazement and refers to our feeling when we first saw it. Our mouth fell open in surprise, we thought it was so beautiful.
