We had a great time in cottage no. 39 at Village le Chat. The cottage is in a great location and offers a lot of privacy and tranquility. The terrace around the house ensures that you can sit in the sun or in the shade. From the back you can walk to the lake in a minute to cool off. The cottage has for us everything we need on holiday. A small, cozy living room. A kitchen with dishwasher and induction hob. A very well stocked kitchen with good utensils. Dishwasher and washing machine. 3 bedrooms. 2 rooms with 2 beds that are comfortable and a room with a single bed that is also comfortable. Spacious bedrooms. Bathroom is basic and fine. The surroundings of the park are very beautiful. The park is somewhat remote. For days out you have to be prepared to drive a bit, but there is plenty to see and do. A supermarket 10 minutes away by car. Tips for day trips: Oradour sur Glane, Limoges, Cognac, Brantôme, the market in Piegut, Aubeterre sur drone, Angouleme but just relaxing in the park is also wonderful. We are definitely thinking of coming back here again.
