Beautiful spacious and fully equipped gîte with very large garden. Our dog could play in the garden and there were plenty of sun and shade places for us to relax. Christa and Dave are very welcoming and really make you feel welcome. The surroundings are very beautiful, plenty of hiking opportunities, swimming in the Dordogne, strolling through old villages. We had 2 wonderful weeks in and around La Caillade.

We spent three very pleasant days in this farm in the Perigord. The cottage is both very comfortable (well equipped) and authentic. We had total independence thanks to the private garden (bbq, small swimming pool), while having the possibility to enjoy the farm. The path behind the farm is the starting point for many very pleasant walking loops (the one at the Château de Bannes is exceptional!). Christa and Dave took great care of us. In short: ideal for a family with child(ren) who want to enjoy this beautiful region.

We fully enjoyed the peace and quiet around the holiday home, part of a converted farmhouse. You have the space in the house and your own private garden. It is located on top of a hill in a beautiful green setting. We made wonderful walks, both from the holiday home and the lovely towns in the area. Have breakfast under the lime tree in the morning sun, eat at your picnic table and enjoy the setting sun in the evening. We really like this holiday home in the Dordogne!
