Just a disclaimer, we were there in August 2021 (!) and just booked again for 2022. I just realized that I had never posted a proper review.

What a beautiful house, excellently located and yes, they were tinkering with the park at the time, but we were not really bothered by that.

We rented bicycles in Exloo and used them to move around the area. In retrospect we did not have to bring so much of our own stuff, the cottage is excellently equipped. My daughter is in love with the box bed, so it has already been claimed, the slugs in the garden were a nice reminder that we were firmly in the middle of nature and the sun was shining wonderfully.

Nice bathroom, not big, but sufficient for a holiday, lovely shower, everything was neat, clean and enough closet space to store our things for a while. Recommended!

From the cottage you can walk into the nature reserve after 20 meters. Really ideal. Contact with landlord was quick and friendly. Both we and the children had a wonderful week.

We had a super time in this beautifully cared for cottage.
Everything you could wish for is there, the children especially liked the box bed.

Everything you could wish for is there, the children especially liked the box bed.

All the facilities at the park are super for kids (ours are 5 and 7) and the Saber-toothed tiger trail, which starts right outside the door, was also a real hit!

Furthermore, Exloo is also a nice village, with nice terraces, a supermarket, and not to be missed Sheep Flock Exloo.

Despite the not very summery week, we had a nice week. A nice house at the end of the park so you can leave the park on foot or by bike at the back. A setback was the renovation of the park, which meant that the swimming pool was no longer there, but the new playground partly made up for this. There is plenty to do in the area!

Children can use the air trampoline and new playground equipment at Landalpark about a 5-minute walk away.

We were 4 adults and 4 children, 1 of 2 years and 3 of 0 years. Might have been a bit too small, but they had said that nicely. Furthermore, a lovely place and we had 2 very good weeks.

2 bakeries in the neighborhood so always nice fresh bread in the morning. If you want to do a day of shopping in Germany, you can get there in no time. Plenty for children in the neighborhood Plopsaland or gnome land. Next to the cottage a path to walk with children or cozy with your company. This cottage is highly recommended.

This cottage is in a beautiful and peaceful location. Most of it is there, but we brought our own barbecue. The bench could be more comfortable. Furthermore, we enjoyed it very much.
