The spacious, very comfortable holiday residence is located directly on the golf course, where peace and privacy are optimized, partly due to the plot size of approximately 1800m2. The comfortable villa, built under architecture, with a living area of approx. 300m2, is stylishly furnished and has the following layout:

A very spacious living room with a separate dining room , library or. television room ;
A fully equipped open kitchen with a separate washing area ;
Two ' master bedrooms ', one with a double queen size bed, ' walk-in closet '. The second master bedroom has a double ' queen ' bed and a double walk-in closet. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet ;
A third bedroom, with a shared bathroom , has a double ' queen ' bed and a large wardrobe ;
A fourth bedroom, also with a shared bathroom , is equipped with two single ' twinsize ' beds and a large wardrobe ;
There are enough towels, bath towels, linen and hair dryers available, in short, you only take your toothbrush and clothes with you;
An indoor double garage ;
A private heated (optional) swimming pool and Jacuzzi with a large terrace of approx. 100m2. Part of the terrace offers shade due to the presence of a covered outdoor area with fans;
Full air conditioning , heating
Flat screen televisions with digital High Definition reception;
T elephones are available. Free calls within the United States;
Free Wireless High Speed Internet ;
Golf sets and a barbecue are available on request.

We, Ger and José, live in the Netherlands and, in between all the activity, can be found with some regularity in our comfortable holiday villa located in Inverness Florida.

We are lovers of a.o. Always enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the wonderful climate.

We make our villa available for a fee, as stated. The villa is located at the Lakeside Country Club near Inverness in Citrus County.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The rental price includes:

Gas, water and electricity;
Local taxes;
Telephone charges (within the United States);
Superfast wireless internet;
Four flat screen televisions, two of which have HighDefinition reception;
Use of bed linen and linen, towels and bath towels;
Bed, bath and kitchen linen;
Cleaning costs (from 2 weeks).

The rental price does not include:

Heating pool and jacuzzi;
Professional barbecue;
Golf club rental (2 sets available);
Bail.
Tax standard: 6%. Tourist: 3%
Cleaning costs for bookings shorter than 2 weeks: € 90.00

Additional charges when using:

Heating pool and jacuzzi: € 25.00 per day;
Golf clubs: € 10.00 per day per set;
Deposit: € 250.00.

Rental conditions:

Deposit 25% of the entire rent;
Smoking is not allowed in all rooms of the villa;
Pets not allowed;
Payment of the remaining amount no later than one month before the start.

Cancellation Policy:

After deposit, including deposit and cleaning costs, the reservation is final;
There will be no refund of the deposit in case of cancellation;
You owe the full rent in case of cancellation within four weeks before the start.

Location & area recommendations

Orientation to the Inverness area

Florida, and in particular the county of Citrus County, is not an exceptionally fine starting point for golfers. Citrus County is a soothing, very friendly province and is very popular with winter visitors or for a week or more away. The immediate surroundings of Inverness are the perfect starting point for your cycling and hiking tours. You can fish, bowl, play sports, skate and work out to your heart's content.

You can play golf in Florida at many locations. It will be familiar to you that Villa Timucuan is located on the grounds of the Lakeside Country Club. You can see very nice golf courses in the vicinity to play your beloved golf. The golf on this course is with a buggy. Of course, you can also use the many golf courses in the immediate vicinity, such as SkyView, The Oaks or The Meadows to name a few. These golf courses are 10-20 minutes away by car from villa Timucuan.

Many varied golf courses within good reach and well maintained.

Below is a small selection of the many possibilities that Florida offers. North of Inverness is the city of Ocala with many modern shopping centres and excellent restaurants. It takes about half an hour by car. The area is known worldwide for horse breeding. More than an hour's drive to the south, near Orlando, you will find the major theme parks such as Disney World, Disney Springs, Epcot Centre, Sea World, Universal Studios. You can also shop cheaply in the Malls.

Delta Airlines and KLM Alliance partner flies from Schiphol directly to Orlando International Airport or via Tampa International Airport.
Various options can be found for this with various airlines, but with a transfer. Of course, car rental companies are active at the aforementioned airports of Orlando and Tampa. You will find Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar and Hertz, among others. Travel time by car from these airports to Inverness: 80-90 kms
