Chalet la Tirelire

Beautifully located, easily accessible, spacious, luxurious and cozy, 10-person chalet in sunny Haute Nendaz. Fantastic ski area Quattre Vallee. Ski lift of Nendaz (to 2200 mtr) 1.5 km from the chalet. There is a ski bus stop at approx. 200m. from the chalet.
Skilift of Siviez (to 3300 mtr.) at 7 km. distance.
Extensive hiking opportunities in the summer. Also mountain biking, golfing, climbing, swimming etc. etc.

The chalet consists of 3 floors.
The entrance is on the bottom floor. At the front door is a bench where you can easily put on your ski or hiking boots in the morning.
On this floor are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, bath and sink. There is also a separate toilet. There is also a technical room with washing machine and dryer. There is also a ski boot heater in the technical room, so you can slide into warm shoes in the morning. We also always hang the gloves here!

Then take the stairs to the mezzanine. Here is a cozy spacious sitting room, a dining area and open kitchen. The dining table is large and invites you to stay after dinner to have a drink or play games. There is a cupboard with books and games and a shuffleboard.
The kitchen is equipped with every conceivable luxury: dishwasher, microwave, combination oven, refrigerator and a large hob. Everything you need for cooking is widely available: pots, pans, crockery (Wedgewood) glassware, cutlery, mixer, coffee maker (filter bags no.4), small Nespresso machine, 2 fondue sets, gourmet sets (on gel ).
There is also a bathroom on this floor; with shower and sink and a separate toilet.
A beautiful terrace with fine garden furniture adjoins this floor. And a balcony with an amazing view of the Rhone Valley and the city of Sion.

The next staircase takes you to the top floor. Here are another 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with sink, bath and shower. And a separate toilet. Each bedroom here has a balcony.

All bedrooms have a wonderfully comfortable bed of 180x200 (these cannot be pushed apart.) and a large wardrobe in which you can easily store all your holiday clothes. The beds are already made upon arrival, which is super nice.

The whole chalet is heated via underfloor heating which is set automatically.

There are no cots and/or high chairs available.
Pets are not allowed.

There is a garage but you cannot rent it. She is used by us for our private things.
The parking lot can accommodate 3-4 cars.

The road to the chalet is (except of course with fresh snow) always cleared of snow because it is a through road. From the road you only have to take the driveway to the chalet. You do not necessarily need snow chains for this, but you do need winter tires and a little driving skills. A few times during the winter season, the entrance and parking lot are cleared of snow. Furthermore, you must take care of clearing the snow from the parking lot and the stairs using the snow shovels provided. This is also for your own safety.

The village (eg bakery) is a 10-minute walk from the chalet. For this you walk from the chalet to the left, 1st street on the left, 2nd street on the right uphill, at the end of this is a small narrow path, you walk out of this and then turn left. You can walk straight to the tourist information office.
