The family story : My grandparents together with my mother and aunt went on holiday to Lajoux on a farm that rented out rooms for holiday guests. That was before the Second World War.
This has resulted in a close friendship over generations.
At one point my parents wanted to build a simple holiday home and asked our neighbors if they could buy some of their land to build on. That was 1962.
We have been able to maintain our friendship all these years. It is a family chalet that I have with my brothers. Welcome to beautiful nature. We as a family love being there, and very often in the chalet. It is therefore equipped with all amenities.
Location : The cozy chalet is located 1 km from the village of Lajoux in the direction of Le Prédame, in the middle of large meadows and impressive Jura pine trees. The chalet is located in the middle of a nature reserve: Franches Montagnes.
Interior design : There is an entrance with cloakroom, bedroom with shower, large living room with dining facilities and integrated kitchen with stove, oven, combination microwave and refrigerator with small freezer. Wood stove, small functional veranda (conservatory) with beautiful views.

Accessibility : By car to the chalet. From Leuven 7 hours.
Activities: You can walk and cycle in all directions. Swimming in the Étang de la Gruyère (natural lake), horse riding, skiing, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, wellness in Saignelégier, golf. La Chaux-de-Fonds, among others, the birthplace of Le Corbusier, watch museum, trips to Lake Biel, Neuchâtel, Murten, with beautiful restaurants on the water. There are beautiful towns and cities to visit in the area.
From the Montoz, in clear weather, you can see the entire Alpine chain.
Village Lajoux : There is a restaurant with delicious pizzas and excellent prices. A church with beautiful windows.
