Berkenheuvel is a comfortably furnished cottage with a nice kitchen, veranda, wood stove and beautiful views over hills and forests, beach at 500 m, village 4 km. The cottage is located between two elongated lakes of more than 20 kilometers each.
The house is nice and warm and cozy in the winter. A number of rooms in the house have recently been painted and wallpapered. Within 25 km there are a lot of activities to do and Karlstad at 90 km can be easily reached for a day out in the city.
Layout of the house
The house is 90m2. The house has a veranda at the front over the entire width. Wide staircase to the first floor. Small cellar.
Furnishing and equipment
The interior is simple, and therefore not adapted to modern requirements in all respects, but clean and complete. Good WiFi and large modern smart TV with casting facilities, comfortable beds and seating furniture.
Living room
Cozy living room with wood stove and double doors to the terrace on the side of the house.
Kitchen
Electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker and small equipment. Also a washing machine in the utility room.
Three bedrooms
Downstairs a bedroom with 2p bed (1.40). Upstairs a bedroom with two 1 single beds. A bed can be added here. In addition, a bedroom with 1.80 wide 2p bed plus an alcove with a trundle bed / baby bed for children.
Bathroom
The large bedroom (en-suite) upstairs has a simple bathroom (sink, toilet and shower). Second toilet on the ground floor.
Parking
Is there behind the house. In winter you can sometimes not travel the last hundred meters to the house by car because the road is too steep for ice and snow. You then have a private parking space at the bottom of the driveway.
Children's furniture
Cot, children's desk, puzzles and books, and a high chair.
In principle, bring your own bath and linen, rent a linen package and have cleaning done in consultation.
Trips and activities in the immediate vicinity include a golf course, tennis court, bicycle rental, mini golf, organized outdoor activities, various museums including a railway museum. Several indoor ice rinks and swimming pools, long-distance cycle path to Karlstad, various sandy beaches with facilities, Varmland moose park. You will receive from us with a manual of the house also detailed tourist information and a document with walks. For winter guests we also have an extensive document with possibilities for ice skating, ice fishing, (horse) sleigh rides, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, husky sleigh rides, skiing and so on.
