Brand new: Green Horizon Holiday Home!
Since 2018, our extremely popular holiday home, the Green Escape, has been located in an old orchard.
On the same plot of 2,150 m2, but at a sufficient distance, there is now also this new Green Horizon Holiday Home, suitable for max. 6 people (74m2).
The house is sheltered, against the forest, and offers 2 beautiful, sunny terraces.
The complete kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, etc.
The construction of the house was completed in June 2024 and so there are few reviews of our own.
In recent years, however, our guests in the Green Escape have already left a lot of positive comments about the location:
"An ultimate resting point in the middle of nature / a breathtaking view / beautiful location / complete peace and space / Deer and deer literally in the garden / beautiful walks nearby / swimming and boating within walking distance / beaches, castles and nice harbor towns a short distance away."
Also the Green Horizon offers a beautiful view of the large Ivö lake and the hills in the distance. Beyond it lies the Baltic Sea.
Around the house you will find blackberries, hazel trees and more than 20 different types of apple and pear trees.
And, as our guest, you can of course harvest what you want for your own use.
French monks once brought escargots (vineyard snails) to this area and you can also find them on our plot and everywhere in the area. Tip from 1 of our guests in the Green Escape: Put in a container, let it fast for 2 days, blanch, remove from the shell and fry with garlic and fresh herbs.
Southern Sweden has fantastic summers, usually around 20 to 25 degrees.
And to make it complete: Our house includes the use of a 4-person motor/rowing boat and a 2-person canoe in the harbor of Vånga.
