Despite the various extensions, the house still has a classic Swedish look with low ceilings in the room and kitchen and an old Bergslag wood stove. We have lived there with great pleasure after our departure to Sweden. There is a small upper floor but it is not in use. The wood stove in the living room has enough capacity to heat the whole house. In the winter we cooked on a traditional Swedish wood stove with oven. For the summer we use a four burner electric hob. There is also a combi microwave / oven and a fridge / freezer and a small boiler.
There is also an air heat pump/air conditioning in the living room.
From the garden room, with a spacious seating area, there is direct access to the wooden sun terrace for sun worshippers. At the entrance/hall there is a covered and outdoor porch. Garden furniture is widely available.
The bathroom is located next to the master bedroom. There is a shower, sink and toilet and a boiler.
In the master bedroom there is a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a small sitting area
Next to the kitchen is the second bedroom with two single beds and a washing machine. There is also a chest of drawers.
The plot is surrounded by woods. We regularly get visits from deer, foxes and even sometimes a moose. All forests are freely accessible.
In the immediate vicinity there are many places for berry or mushroom picking.
There is ample parking with a carport. (Indispensable for the winter).
