This very centrally located treasure is well hidden in the center of Paramaribo near the 1st road near the Academic Hospital. The attractively furnished houses and apartments are fully equipped. The site is accessible via the central gate and offers plenty of space for rest and relaxation. Our prices include WiFi, gas, water, electricity and final cleaning. The grounds include the Bakkershuisje.

The Bakkershuisje is a very spacious house of 70m2 and easily accessible. Because the open kitchen is directly connected to the living room, a large cozy space is created. The 2 bedrooms (each with air conditioning) and the bathroom are accessible from the hallway. The largest bedroom has a double bed and the other room has a single bed.

It can always be expanded with an extra single bed so that the Bakkershuisje is also suitable for 4 people. The bedrooms are lockable, so that they offer sufficient privacy. The bathroom has hot water. The covered terrace offers plenty of space to enjoy and relax. A separate laundry room has also been thought of! After working at the bank for 17 years, I changed course and together with my wife Sharon I started making Klein-Kronenburg a nice place for people who are looking for a nice stay in a central location. We have been working for a number of years now and are now known to many people. I myself fly to Suriname 3 times a year and in my absence there is always someone available to observe things.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cancellation 3 months before arrival is free. If canceled 1 month before arrival, 50% of the total price will be charged. No show and cancellation within 1 month before arrival costs 100%

When booking the accommodation, 50% will be charged immediately, the remainder must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival, all by bank transfer.

The Bakkerhuisje is located on the busy Kwattaweg near the University Hospital. Nearby you have the bank, the butcher, a supermarket, a sports cafe and a small market. The Bakkershuisje is therefore very centrally located and you can reach the pleasant Waterkant within 10 minutes by taxi or bus.

You can go to the cultural garden on Sunday mornings, less than a 10-minute drive away. The cultural garden in the heart of Paramaribo has a plant market every Sunday. This beautiful garden was landscaped around 1900 with native plants and has now become the setting for all kinds of plant stalls. It's not just a place to buy plants. You can enjoy the peace and quiet there, the friendliness of the people and of course there are eateries where you can enjoy tasty snacks and refreshing drinks. The plants you see in the garden of Klein Kronenburg all come from this Sunday market.
