HOUSE ROZA HAS AN IDEAL LOCATION, CLOSE TO PARAMARIBO CENTER, THIS NEIGHBORHOOD IS SAFE AND CLEAN!! has WIFI, AIR CONDITIONING, HOT WATER. Huize Roza is located in a Middan class residential area, a neighborhood where you feel right at home. In this detached house of the highest rank, you will experience Suriname with all the coziness and safety of the past. A police officer lives next to us, which gives an extra safe feeling. Neighbors have a chat with each other, children play outside, this is so nice to see from the balcony.
In this neighborhood you will experience the coziness of a safe Surinamese residential area with everything you need within walking distance. In our street itself there are no shops or discos, it is a safe and clean residential area, you are (about 5 minutes walk) in the middle of 2 very nice main roads (Tourtonnelaan and Gompertstraat) that lead you to Par'bo center. We are on the border of the Tourtonne and Maritraite districts, De Combe Markt and the Sunday market, TULP and Joy, Tourtonne MALL, Cyber Kofie, Piza Hut, Mac Donalds !!, You will find everything close by, Dutch groceries and delicious Surinamese and European food, International food!!!! Roup Ram rotie, the only Tjowmin drive through in the world, around the corner, with the most delicious Tjowmin, but you can also just walk by.
Enjoy the lovely morning sun on the balcony early in the morning, your cup of coffee/breakfast and colorful birds that drop by to enjoy the delicious fruit in the garden. Even when it rains you can sit here wonderfully high and dry and you don't have to worry about crawling vermin, but you can enjoy the spectacle of the children playing in the rain. Fortunately (by taking appropriate measures) we are not bothered by the large rain showers. Our garden has a well-functioning drainage system, so we don't suffer from stagnant water, so we also suffer less from vermin.
The house is cozy and comfortably furnished, it has a beautiful garden with fruit trees, tropical birds, beautiful flowers, tropical plants, a gazebo and several terraces where you can smoke a cigarette because smoking is prohibited in the house. Under the house is a kind of patio where you can do all sorts of things. You can sit in the shade of the house or relax in the hammocks that we have made available, you can park your car in a cool place, hang up the laundry, and children can play safely and coolly.
The house is on neuten and from the balcony you can watch the activities in the area until the wee hours. That is an attraction in itself, children of different nationalities play together, neighbors have a chat with each other, walk past each other. The greengrocer who passes by on his bike every day and shouts that he also sells shrimps and dry fish. The IJcoman with his bell on his cargo bike just like before. This is a really nice neighborhood, lively but not too busy.
The neighbors are nice, cultured and very social. They keep an eye on things without being intrusive. Feel free to chat with them, they like that. Everyone just speaks Dutch so feel free to have a chat with them.
You can reach the city center on foot (about 20 minutes), by taxi (about 3-5 minutes) or very cheaply by mini bus. In the neighborhood (5 minutes) you will find everything, banks, ATMs, money exchange offices, shops, shopping malls, boutiques, markets, restaurants, hotels with swimming pools that can be used for a fee, museums, there is too much to mention. It is an excellent base for many short excursions, but also for going inland.
