Casa Campo Rustico

Our holiday home Casa Campo Rustico is located in the outskirts of the authentic Spanish village of Calasparra (8,000 inhabitants) in the province of Murcia, on the edge of large Natura 2000 areas. The center of the village is a 10-minute walk away. All amenities are available from restaurants (even a Chinese, Kebab and Pizzeria) and supermarkets to clothing and shoe stores, banks, two Chinese bazaars, medical care for humans and animals and you name it. There is a market on Fridays. Be surprised by the Spanish prices! In the immediate vicinity rice fields, the fast-flowing river Segura, the Santuario de Virgin de la Esperanza, viewpoints, stalactite caves, reservoirs, hiking areas etc. And everything wonderfully quiet! The large city of Murcia is 45 minutes by car and to sea 1 hour 15 minutes, all via the motorway. The holiday home with its own irrigation system for the gardens has over 5,000 m2 of private land where you can walk and enjoy various seating areas between the old olive trees, fig trees or by the fountain. The kitchen was completely renovated in 2023 and has all appliances and the barn is equipped with 16 solar panels. In addition to the large living room (35m2) with wood burning stove, there are three double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. In total there are 4 air conditioners and electric heaters in each room for the cooler winter evenings. In the barn with covered parking there is another fully fitted bathroom. The swimming pool building has a washing machine and extra toilet. From the covered terrace you have a beautiful view over the mountains and you can walk straight into the (heated) swimming pool. There is also a jacuzzi (2 pers) and a sun-heated outdoor shower. The house is also ideal for a longer period of time. We have separate rates for winter visitors (Nov to March).
