Hacienda La Centenaria

LA CENTENARIA is a beautiful estate of more than 5,000 square  meters located in the upper part of El Paso, in the center of the beautiful island, La Palma, about 750 meters above sea level. 
Inside the hacienda, there are three semi-detached houses, old animal stalls and recently refurbished farm implements, of traditional Canarian architecture, dating from the 27th century, exquisitely decorated in the rustic-colonial style combined with country antiques, offering at the same time all the comforts of modern life.
Presiding over the complex, is the main house, also of traditional Canarian architecture, an old warehouse for the production and sale of artisan tobacco from La Palma, dating from the early twentieth century, where the owner of the estate, Sonia, resides, at her entire disposal and her friendly animal family, mainly cats, with whom they can play and have a good time if it is their taste.
The property has a swimming pool-solarium and jacuzzi, barbecues and extensive gardens where you can rest, walk, enjoy nature and contemplate from anywhere on the property wonderful views of the Caldera de Taburiente, the new Tajogaite volcano that emerged in 2021 along with the route of the volcanoes and the Atlantic.
It is a pleasure for the senses to contemplate all the beauty that this place contains, totally surrounded by more than 50 almond trees and other fruit trees, which invite you to enjoy their aromas.
Nearby, you can do activities related to nature such as hiking (on the real roads and trails that surround the estate), walking, horseback riding and cycling, paragliding, etc... since we are a few meters from the Visitor Center of the National Park of La Caldera de Taburiente and totally surrounded by the summits of it.
