Casa Benjamin

Casa Benjamin is officially from 1840, but the oldest parts have existed since the 17th century. In the living room, the first roof is still visible in the piedras wall. A Galician country house with the authentic atmosphere of the past, but completely renovated, so that it is a comfortable and energetically pleasant house for all seasons.
The hamlet of Chímparra is the oldest hamlet in the valley and has its own microclimate. Protected by the ridge between the village and the ocean, it is located in a quiet environment, where the most heard sounds are those of birds, river and sometimes the wind. An atmosphere to relax and unwind. But also a good base for beach, walks, culture, etc.

The house
The entire house including private garden are at your disposal. All rooms in the house are on one level. Brackets in the shower to hold you. The front and back door have a (front; low, rear; somewhat higher) sill. The rear garden terraces have height differences to be reached via a staircase and/or slope.
There are no facilities for staying with babies under two years of age.
Chímparra is a location where you can relax. In the house is WiFi via the fiber optic network, available.

In addition, a 220V (monophase 16A) connection point for the E-car (no charging station), which consumption will be charged separately via a kWh meter (€0.30/kWh). You must have your own cable and adapter plug with you.

How to get there;
Galicia is easily accessible by car (recommended). La Autovía del Cantábrico, the AP-8, stretches like a smooth curly ribbon across the Spanish north coast from the Pyrenees to Vilalba. Then it is only a short distance to Cedeira and Chímparra. Own transport is highly recommended, also for getting around in the area. Public transport is not directly nearby; train (terminus Ferrol 40km ) and bus (terminus estación de autobuses Cedeira 7km) and plane (Santiago de Compostela 120km and A Coruña 80km) .
