Villa Casa Tomise

Villa Casa Tomise was built in 2013 in Andalusian style with a modern touch, such as large panoramic windows and high ceilings that provide a bright and spacious living space.
The garden extends to the shoreline 100 meters below and the only sounds you can hear are those of the waves, birds and the crickets in the evening - an unforgettable location to relax and unwind. The views are phenomenal: the Mediterranean, the city of Salobreña with the mountains as a backdrop and an extensive coastline.

The large ground floor rooms open out onto the terrace and overlook the hydromassage pool and the expansive blue Mediterranean Sea. There is a large open plan living room with a sunken arched lounge that has space for two large sofas, a leather armchair, a fireplace and a flat screen TV with international channels. The dining room seats up to 8 people, has a sideboard full of games and a well-stocked bookcase.

The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen has a centrally located island unit with additional sink and wood-topped breakfast bar. The countertops are all granite and the units are made of painted oak. There is a large refrigerator, a 4-burner gas hob, an electric oven and a dishwasher. At the rear of the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine, microwave, two freezers and a toilet.

The bedrooms are all on the first floor. Three of the four bedrooms are south facing and have an unobstructed view of the sea. The fourth bedroom overlooks the small 'zen' courtyard. All bedrooms have balconies and are air-conditioned (fans are also provided for those who prefer not to use the A / C and sleep with an open window so you can enjoy the murmur of the sea). Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds with en-suite shower rooms (the master suite has a massage shower); there is a further standard double and a twin room and a family bathroom with a double sink.

On the top floor is a large roof terrace with an extra fridge.
Outside there are several alcoves with tables for dining - including a beautifully curved covered dining area. To the side of the house is a small 'zen' garden with a fountain - a lovely quiet hideaway when pool life gets too hectic! On the pool terrace there is a large pergola providing much needed shade from the afternoon sun and a comfortable corner unit. There is a gas BBQ on this level along with sunbeds and other chairs. The infinity pool is salt water (much softer on the skin, hair and eyes), with underwater lighting and a separate part of the pool with hydromassage and 8 seats. There is also an outdoor shower.

The beach, restaurants and shops are less than 10 minutes' drive away. The airports of Malaga, Granada and Almeria are easily accessible. If you can tear yourself away from this beautiful villa, there are many things to see and do in the area: the Sierra Nevada ski resort, where you can also take beautiful walks, is less than 75 minutes' drive - can ski in the morning (from December to April) and enjoy the beach or your swimming pool in the afternoon. The 18-hole golf course, which is located on the beach, is a 10-minute drive away. The picturesque mountain villages in the Alpujarras are in the vicinity of the villa as well as the beautiful historic cities of Granada with the world famous Alhambra palace and Malaga with its historic center, the cathedral and the Picasso museum.
Salobreña benefits from the subtropical microclimate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of over 20˚C. For those interested in art, architecture and history, this region offers the best that Andalusia has to offer. You will be impressed by the charm and beauty of this area. Small white mountain villages hidden in the mountain landscape, tropical plants, Flamenco music, not to mention the richness and variety of Spanish cuisine.

We would like to point out that due to the overflow swimming pool, the villa is not suitable for children under 12 years old. Of course this does not apply to babies.
