This apartment has a unique location!! It is located right on the beach of Torrecilla with a south-facing balcony. As soon as you open the front door, you look straight at the sea, which is so close that you can hear the surf rustling in bed. 

The Arce complex is one of the first apartment complexes in Nerja and therefore one of the few complexes in this tourist town with frontline sea views. 

The complex is well maintained and, in addition to its unique location, also has a communal swimming pool and a private communal parking space. The swimming pool is not open all year round.

The apartment we offer is located on the first floor of the complex and has a new, open kitchen with bar, a new bathroom with walk-in shower and two bedrooms with generous fitted wardrobes. It can be entered without stairs.

The traditional Andalusian woodwork, the classic granite floor and the cheerful Spanish tiles in the bathroom give the apartment an authentic, warm feel.

The furniture is comfortable and of good quality. This is not a standard Ikea apartment.

From the cozy, bright living room, which has sun most of the day, you have a straight view of the sea and beach. A large glass sliding door provides access to the balcony. 

With two bedrooms, the apartment offers space for four people, but it is also ideal for two people.

Since the apartment is only separated from the beach by the promenade, children can walk to the beach themselves without any danger. You can keep an eye on them from the balcony without any problem.

The largest bedroom is located on the sea side, and therefore has a lot of sun. The spacious double bed (180 x 200) is of excellent quality. The second bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200) that can easily be pushed next to each other or apart. The large built-in wardrobes have both hanging and storage space.

Both bedrooms are equipped with a new air conditioning that not only cools but also heats in winter if desired. Of course, the living room is also equipped with air conditioning, although thanks to the cooling sea breeze it is very pleasant even on hot days. 

The kitchen is equipped in such a way that extensive cooking can be done here . There is a large fridge, oven/microwave and an induction hob.

For those who prefer to eat out, there are  plenty of cozy and affordable restaurants and terraces just a stone's throw from the apartment. The historic center of Nerja, with small streets full of nice shops and eateries, is also within walking distance. In ten minutes you are at the famous Balcon d'Europa.

The apartment has a new 4k flat screen TV with the well-known Dutch channels. Thanks to fiber optics, the internet is excellent.

Dutch books and games are available for enthusiasts. In addition to shorter holidays, the apartment also lends itself well to a longer stay in the winter. In addition to English and Swedish winterers, many Dutch people can also be found in Nerja who enjoy the sun that shines here three hundred days a year.

Additional information

Close to the Iglesia El Salvador you will find the Balcón de Europa. This is a kind of promenade built against the rocks and stretching towards the sea. According to tradition, the 'balcony' owes its name to the Spanish king Alfonso the 12th, who is said to have named it that way during a visit to the region. Historically, this is not correct because the Balcón already had this name before the monarch visited it. Despite this, his life-size statue still adorns the end of the balcony, which is a popular place for tourists to have themselves photographed together with the then monarch. What's on the balcony? The balcony was originally built as a fortress to defend the city from pirates and privateers. During the war on the Peninsula, which lasted from 1807 to 1814, it was severely damaged, but it has been restored. Two guns still remind us of the battle that was fought there. You will also find a star on the balcony. If you stand in the middle of it, you may make a wish, which according to tradition will be fulfilled. Easily accessible on foot The balcony is best accessible on foot. It is completely pedestrianized and so are the streets leading to it. You have a great view over the beaches on both the left and right side of the Balcón. In the distance you can even see the town of Maro. Besides the beaches you can admire the beautiful mountainous surroundings and of course you also have a view of the sea.
