This is our beautiful apartment on the beach and promenade of Caleta de Velez. The attractively furnished apartment has one bedroom and can accommodate two people.
From the apartment you have a beautiful view over the palm trees, the beach and the sea, but also over the mountains inland. The apartment is located on the fifth floor of the small-scale apartment complex Puerto Blanco and is accessible by elevator and stairs. (This is the highest floor, so no problems from upstairs neighbors!)
The complex has an entrance gate and is therefore only accessible to residents. A live-in concierge keeps the complex clean.
The complex is located right by the sea, so you don't have to cross a road to get to the beach. You walk directly onto the kilometre-long boulevard, to the end of Torre Del Mar. On the boulevard there are many beach bars, bars and restaurants. The marina is also within walking distance. Sunbeds with umbrellas can be rented on the beach. There are also showers, clean toilets and changing cabins. There are also sports facilities and playgrounds. The beach is especially popular with families and the elderly. There are no discotheques or clubs within earshot.
The stylishly furnished apartment offers a lot of comfort, including new, silent air conditioners in both bedroom and living room. There is also fiber optic available for superfast internet and Dutch channels can be received on a 42-inch 4K television. With your own account, you can also easily log in to Netflix, Videoland, or other apps.
The apartment has been completely renovated very recently and the furniture is comfortable and of good quality. All equipment is new. The mattresses are excellent and can be used separately or together, creating a bed of 180 x 200.
In the neighborhood (and even on the ground floor of the complex) there are of course plenty of tasty restaurants where you can eat fresh fish or paella for very reasonable prices, but the open kitchen, equipped with oven/microwave and induction plate, certainly invites you to cook yourself. In the kitchen cupboards, basic necessities such as tea, oil and spices are ready for use.
In addition to the usual kitchen appliances, the kitchen also contains the washing machine. On the roof of the complex there are clotheslines for general use. This space is only accessible to residents/tenants who have a key.
The apartment has a balcony with two chairs and a table where you can enjoy the view. Due to its location directly on the coast, it is not nearly as hot in summer as inland. The sea breeze keeps it pleasant. From one o'clock in the afternoon until sunset there is sun on the balcony.
A tripp trapp high chair (with bracket) and/or camp bed are also available on request.
Supermarket, bakery and the weekly market are within walking distance, the bus stop is almost in front of the door. From there you can easily get on the bus to popular tourist places such as Nerja. Malaga is also easily accessible by bus.
