An exceptionally beautiful villa, with a spacious private swimming pool in a beautiful garden: very special trees, palms, Acacia, cypresses, orange and olive trees. A domain in which you are on your own, but only have to travel 500 m for basic needs and nice terraces. Then you are in the town of Nijar, one of the 69 most beautiful villages in Spain, which is beautifully situated in Gabo de Gata and where before you know it you will be face-to-face with beautiful rock formations. Hiking trails etc. are located in the villa.

In the center of Nijar is the square Glorieta, with church and bar. Hikes start at the coast Agua Amarga, Las Negras, la Isleta, Almahilla etc.etc. There is also cozy catering there.

There are 3 bedrooms, each for 2 people and equipped with a private bathroom. There is also a studio on the 1st floor furnished as an extra living room/relaxation area with patio doors to the roof terrace and views of the surrounding mountains. Optionally, a bed can also be used here.

The villa is wonderfully cool. The south-facing wall is introverted (a few small windows) and 50 cm thick. On the other side of the house are the French doors to the gardens, through beautiful canopies where it is pleasant to stay. In the winter all rooms can be heated with the air conditioners and in the evening the fireplace can be used. 

Around the swimming pool (14 X 4 METERS)  the sun shines. You will surely feel comfortable in this house and marvel at the kindness of our host. She will show you the ropes and ensure that the basic necessities are in order for you. All you have to do is bring the suitcase with your personal necessities. The gardens and the swimming pool are also taken care of, by our host's husband. Of course, the time will be determined in consultation with you.

In addition to the aforementioned beautiful places with restaurants on the coast, there is also great food in Almeria (a beautiful city), e.g. at Restaurant Bagua. The menu del dia is most commonly used at noon before the siesta and also offered in Nijar, e.g. at Bar Glorietta. The artists' village of Rodalquilar and El Toyo Retamar are very suitable for a visit. At the latter you can take beautiful (evening walks), also along the coast and there is also a lot of catering. The Cactus Gardens at the beginning then the Camino del Campo, where the house is located, are an absolute Must See. You can walk past the open-air shop and feast your eyes on the natural splendor of the gardens with the beautiful rock formations as a backdrop.

The nearby Gabo de Gata-Nijar park is one of the most beautiful authentic coastal areas in Spain. No mass tourism and beautiful small bays with sandy beaches where you can relax on the Mediterranean Sea. Nijar is a beautiful authentic Spanish town with all amenities. Again, no mass tourism, but a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. From April to the end of October, there  are flights to Almeria from Rotterdam with Transavia. From November to the end of March you can fly to Alicante and/or Malaga. From these airports it is about a 2.5 hour drive to Nijar.  The location is 100% privacy and therefore a safe environment and is  certainly not mass tourism.
