The GR63 runs along the entire coast, well laid out and full of beautiful beaches and views

In the 1.5-hectare garden, there is room everywhere for seating areas with a view or a hammock in the olive trees

Our house is almost impossible to photograph in its entirety because it is so elongated. Here is a view of it from the vegetable garden

In the mountain area of Els Ports there are plenty of beautiful walks to be made and you will find a lot of water and rivers, even when it is hot and dry

The studio is the second bedroom that is directly adjacent to the first bedroom. We have trinkets from previous trips and from the surrounding area

Platja Sta Llucia is 1 of our favorites. Stone and sandy beach and a chiringuito all summer long with plenty of live music and DJs

The springs at the old spa town behind Prat del Comte. If you know it, you will find it. Another good tip from our favorite card :-)

Again the orchard, the olive trees, the aloe vera, the view of the Ebro delta and sunrise from the studio

The Monastery of San Salvador, in the mountains of Els Port near Horta de San Joan, where Picasso started painting

Tortosa is not (yet) very touristy but has many Art Deco buildings from other times

The mountains of Els Ports with the characteristic elephant rocks. Others see a dog in it.

'Our' monastery on the Coll de L'Alba (mountain top of the sunrise). 1 time a month there is Sunday cooking.

The second bedroom is a very attractive place. We brought the blanket with us from Brazil.

The Ebro Delta is flat and full of rice paddies. A very special region full of birds, therefore partly a reserve, but otherwise mainly good for wide and empty sandy beaches.

Casas de Alcanar, an attractive coastal town full of tasty restaurants

Another favorite beach, Platja de l'Illot. Also for walking.

The workplace in the studio, with a view of the terrace, orchard and mountains. With a nice and sturdy rolling desk.

Walking back we see our house against the setting sun.

Platja Cap Roig, a nice sheltered sandy beach with a very nice restaurant.

Sant Carles has a large marina and there are many water sports activities like julie in the regatta.

Parc Garby. Here, during the festival weeks and events held recitals and performances.

Sant Carles adjacent to the Delta del Ebro. Known from rice plantations, mussel beds, salt marshes and wildlife refuges.

On the other side of Isla Sant Carles aiet you Alfaques a large sandbar connected to the Delta.
