Los Arcos, location 30 - 09

The detached villa has unlimited views over the grounds with Mediterranean vegetation, the house has a private swimming pool, large (partly covered) terrace with non-slip tiles, patio furniture, sunbeds etc. Air conditioning, free wifi.  Present: ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, Senseo and toaster.

Use of water, electricity, bed, bath and kitchen linen is free.    

Inside, the house is completely on the ground floor, so no stairs to climb, between street level and house 3 steps, from house to terrace 1 step. All windows and sliding door have ornamental ironwork and shutters, all bedrooms also have mosquito nets. The bars increase safety, you can leave your windows open without unwanted visitors being able to enter.

The MCC (Mazarron Country Club) is a quiet residential area, so it doesn't have a great nightlife. But there is plenty to discover and see. If I were to name the target group of "Los Arcos", I think of seniors, but they can combine their stay with their children and/or grandchildren.

"Los Arcos" is located on the Mazarron Country Club, province of Murcia, 3 km away from the town of Mazarron, Mazarron consists of Mazarron village and Puerto de Mazarron on the coast. Here are many beaches, harbors, restaurants, terraces and boulevards. This coast is called the Costa Calida.

The resort is spacious, with lots of greenery, well maintained, no high-rise buildings, but many detached houses.

We use a card system for electricity use, with normal use this is sufficient for your stay. In case of above-average use, this will be deducted from the deposit.

Living room
The living room is furnished with sofa, dining area, TV with ned. channels (and many foreign ones), Cromecast. The living room has air conditioning (hot and cold). To the side of the living room, the house has been expanded with a 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom. 

There are folders with brochures about tourist trips, house book and guest book.

Bathrooms

The bathrooms each have a shower, toilet and sink.

Bedrooms

There is a bedroom with 1x double bed 140 x 200 cm and a bedroom with 2x single bed 80 x 200 cm. The 3rd bedroom has 2x 1 person box spring bed 70 x 200 cm.

Bath and linen

There is sufficient bath, bed and kitchen linen available. A private bath/beach  towel is recommended.

Children's furniture
For a small child there is a camping bed, baby bath, high chair with table top, potty and changing mat.
And for toddlers 2 chairs and a table (plastic, so also suitable for outside).

Furnishing and equipment
There is air conditioning, there are also electric fans; books and games are also available.

Parking
There is plenty of parking space. On private property (for a small car) or more commonly on the road (along the curb, please NOT on the sidewalk due to damage to water pipes).

Swimming pool
The tiled private swimming pool (8 x 4 m) has a walk-in staircase. Next to it is an outdoor shower. Maintenance included in rental price.

Garden furniture
There is a large tiled terrace, partly covered, with plenty of tables, chairs, sunbeds and a barbecue. The terrace was relaid at the beginning of 2017 with anti-slip tiles. Be careful, when you leave the living room, that you do not close the sliding doors completely behind you, you will lock yourself out....

Activities
There are various recreational opportunities in the park, such as tennis courts, a communal large swimming pool. There is a restaurant.
The jeu de boules court is opposite our house.
The nearest 18-hole golf course is a 5-minute drive away.
Furthermore, the area is suitable for hiking, cycling and horseback riding.

Remaining
Nearby are historic cities and modern shopping centers. The Sierra Espuna is a protected nature reserve.
In Mazarron itself, the town hall deserves attention: Ayuntamiento, Castillo, several churches and the market.
Puerto: promenade, harbour with lighthouse, fishing port, marina, market on Sundays, archaeology museum.
Bolnuevo: Sierra de las Moreras, Ciudad encantada, [for dog lovers special ''dog beach'' - playa canina].
Mula: Castillo.  La Azohia: Torre Santa Elena. 
It is possible to take boat trips at sea, rent bicycles and follow walking routes.
Surrounding cities: Murcia, Cartagena, Almería, Lorca, Aguillas; Granada [Alhambra and Generalife] are 2 1/2 hours away.
Natural sites : Sierra Espuña, Mar Menor.
Cabo Tiñoso with breathtaking views and the cannons of Castillito.
The Sierra Nevada [2 hours drive] offers winter sports opportunities; The mountain range [peaks up to 3400 m. high], is also a beautiful destination in summer.
Madrid is 450 km from Mazarron, which can be reached entirely via autovia.
