The last of the rocky and virgin bays of l'Estartit is Cala Ferriol, located just over 3 km away. away from the port, via the GR92 path to L'Escala. The morphology and the decay path are similar to Cala Pedrosa, but you can distinguish it because the sea entrance is protected by two small arid islands, rather than one, known as Illots de Cala Ferriol. The inlet, which has no facilities, is approximately 25 meters. long by 45 m. wide, it consists of pebbles, surrounded by a leafy pine forest and gives us a bath in its large crystal clear waters. Your access can be walked 10 km from Casa Leon, or 6 km by parking the car at Primavera Street in L'Estartit. This is because the mountain is closed to vehicles from 14 June to 15 September

THE CHURCH OF L'ERMITA
The central nave of the church is the oldest part of the vault. It was built in the 14th century and was covered with a pointed vault. The hermitage was renovated and enlarged in the 17th and 18th centuries. In the primitive church the two side aisles were added and the walls with large arches were drilled to communicate the three naves of the new church. The old vault of the central nave escaped to create the great room on the top floor and to form some false decorative vaults below. The heart and bell tower were built and, with the miraculous altarpiece and the paintings, the interior of the church was given its impressive current appearance, impregnated with the typical Baroque style of the vaults of this country. The castle of Montgrí is a military fortress built between 1294 and 1304 by King Jaime II, on top of the Montgrí massif in Torroella de Montgrí, Bajo Ampurdán (Gerona, Catalonia, Spain). Montgrí is a small mountain of calcareous type, at an altitude of 315 meters above sea level and 6 km from the sea. The top offers us a beautiful view of the entire Ampurdán and reaches the Canigó.

From Casa Leon it is a few kilometers from the Dali triangle. You can visit Pubol (20 km), there is the house-museum of the famous painter's wife. Figueres (45 km) with the famous "Dalí Teatre-Museu" museum and finally Cadaques (80 km) is the home of Salvador Daí in Port Lligat.
