Lovely apartment with unobstructed sea views over the entire bay of Roses and 3 terraces, 1 of which is a fantastic spacious living terrace on the beach.

All day long there is something to see on the boulevard, on the terraces below, on the beach or at sea. Every weekend there is also entertainment on the beach. Sometimes a beach soccer tournament, sometimes a party or concert. In the evening there are also stalls on the boulevard where you can stroll and shop! And all that less than a 200-metre walk away.

The beach is at your disposal for the whole day, and behind is a private semi-private swimming pool behind for which tickets are available!

In the morning, the day starts with breakfast by the rising sun over the Pyrenees and people walking on the beach, or strolling along the promenade or jogging! The spacious terrace is a wonderful place all day long. Every day there is also a refreshing sea breeze blowing, which keeps you cool in the apartment in a natural way! An air conditioner does not come in with us!

The apartment is located on the second floor and consists of a living room, new modern kitchen with a comfortable high worktop, fresh and practical bathroom, two spacious bedrooms, front and rear terrace, and a practical "work terrace" where you can hang out your wet towels and swimming gear in the daily sea breeze. Access is via the stairwell at the entire rear of the building.

It is easy to drive both by car (1400 km from Utrecht) and easily accessible by plane via Girona or Barcelona. We always drive at night with two children: Excitement from going on holiday to Paris, and then a few more hours when they wake up with a fresh croissant in hand! Actually, not a penny of pain, and a lot more relaxed than 4 hours at Schiphol ;-)

My name is Eric-Jan, and I've been coming to Empuriabrava since I was four!
My parents bought this lovely apartment in 1978, so I already have a lot of footprints there!

Raised with holiday friends, and now I can relax with my own family both at home and at the beach, in the private swimming pool, or take a trip somewhere in the region.

Now my own children are growing up there and time after time they are eager to go!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Dear tenant,

I have been renting out my apartment for years with great pleasure. Because I do this independently as a private individual and it is also my second "home", I also like to deliver and collect the keys from people's homes. This way I have personal contact with you, and it often happens that people keep coming back once they have been. For that reason I only rent to people who live in the Netherlands or Belgium.

For the same reason, there is no hired cleaning service. The apartment is easy to clean in 90 minutes, and all guests clean the apartment themselves for the next guests to the best of their knowledge. This works very well and there have never been any complaints about this.

After your reservation request has been confirmed, 50% of the total rent will be refunded in the event of cancellation up to 2 months after confirmation. After this period the full rent is due. In any case, the full rent is due after transfer of the keys (under normal circumstances approximately 30 days before arrival).
