Tree House Villa, your Holiday Home in Spain...?

Our modern TreeHouse Villa is located in the Catalan wine region 'Emporda' . From Amsterdam you can drive to northern Spain in a day, but the airports of Girona (35') and Barcelona (70') are also at a good distance.

'Urbanización Mas Pere' in Calonge is located high up. Surrounded by nature, vineyards and at the foot of the foothills of the Pyrenees. The villa is located on top of a hill at the end of a cul-de-sac, so you have a lot of privacy and absolutely no problems with passing traffic or noisy neighbors. Yet the villa is also located a short distance from several large beaches, small picturesque bays and bustling Spanish villages...
 
In this unique place you will be seduced by the tranquility of the Spanish hinterland, the sound of birds and crickets, a good glass of wine, the smell of a burning BBQ with local organic ingredients, cracking fresh fish and the always cooling breeze of the Tramontana. 
The extensive open kitchen with bar in combination with the sturdy BBQ, makes our accommodation a feast for the creative hobby loft and bon vivant. Luxury crockery and beautiful wine glasses complete your cozy evenings. Within a short drive you will find several large supermarkets, and in Palamos (15') a covered market hall and a beautiful fish market. Everything within reach to enjoy the beautiful Catalan-Spanish cuisine. 

The 9 person villa has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an extra toilet. The air conditioning (2025) in all bedrooms and the box spring beds ensure an excellent night's sleep. The kids will enjoy themselves in their own 3 to 4 person children's room, equipped with a bunk bed and a double sofa bed.

The cozy living room is the warm center of the house, here everyone likes to come together at the sturdy wooden table. In the early and late season you can snuggle up by the wood stove, with a book or your favorite movie on TV. For entertainment, the house is equipped with strong WIFI, a smart TV, Chrome Cast, Apple TV and a Sonos installation.

From the refreshing swimming pool you look out over the surrounding green forests. The accompanying terrace with eight sun beds and a hammock is partly in the shade of the swaying palms.

The TreeHouse deck is a floating tree terrace where you can find peace and shade all day long, lazing around with a book in the hammock? After a long day, we like to get together for a 'sundowner' with a magical view... A 5-minute drive away you will find an extensive Spar supermarket with a fresh bakery and a good Arnall butcher. Calonge center is also a 5-minute drive away, a quiet village with a nice historic center around a medieval castle. The first large beaches of St Antoni can be found a 10-minute drive from the villa, a little further are Playa La Fosca, Palamos beach and several picturesque bays within easy driving distance. In Palamós and the surrounding area you have many good restaurants and classic tapas bars, you can stroll on the boulevard, drink a cocktail or go shopping in the old Catalan streets. If you really want to shop or go out, the shopping street of Platja d'Aro is the place to be....
