The house is spacious with 4 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and sleeps 8 and feels very cozy at the same time. You will feel right at home, because in addition to homely furnishings, it is very well equipped, so that you lack nothing, such as plenty of closet space in every room, children's games, golf sets, beach chairs, lots of books (in English and Dutch), board games, etc. etc. The location is excellent, with stunning views of the Las Gavarres National Park and the vibrant and beautiful coastline of the Costa Brava just 10 minutes away. There you will find the beautiful, long beaches of St Antoni and Playa de Aro and the beautiful bays of Tamariu, Sa Tuna and Riera. But also well-known picturesque medieval towns such as Pals and Begur are nearby, as well as the charming seaside resorts of Palamos, San Feliu de Guixols and Tossa de Mar.
There is something for everyone in the area, whether you like sun, sea, beach, nature or culture. Hikers will be amazed by the Cami de Ronda, the spectacular hiking route that takes you along the beaches and coves of the Costa Brava or if you decide to follow one of the many hiking trails through the Els Molins nature reserve. There are just as many cycling routes for those who prefer to get on their (electric?) bicycle. If you like golf, then you are also in the right place here with many beautiful courses nearby. Water sports enthusiasts can (kite) surf, sup or snorkel and last but not least, there is a padel court near our house.
Calonge itself is a small, quaint village with all amenities (supermarkets and a few restaurants). But you will certainly reluctantly leave our fine house, with its large, sunny terrace, outdoor kitchen and refreshing swimming pool, which we can heat for you outside the summer months.
Enjoy a game of Jeu de Boule on our jeu de Boule course or use the ping-pong table.
Children's games available, but also golf sets, beach chairs, etc.
For (big) city lovers, Girona is a 30-minute drive away, Barcelona 1.5 hours. Last but not least, Wifi, smart TV and central heating are available. Ceiling fans in all (bed) rooms provide cooling when needed. The swimming pool (8 x 4) can be heated. Private parking for 2 cars.
