Our fantastic 4 person apartment is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of the bustling seaside resort of Torrevieja. It is part of the residence "Varudi 28", which has 2 floors. Our apartment is located on the first floor and is accessible by stairs. It has a spacious living room with balcony, luxury kitchen with complete inventory, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It features fast free WiFi, a television with chromecast to stream via your own provider and air conditioning hot/cold. There is also a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, oven, microwave, toaster and sandwich maker. From the large private roof terrace (which is equipped with 2 sunbeds, an outdoor barbecue and outdoor shower) you have a magnificent view! If you wish, you can enjoy the Spanish sun on the roof terrace all day long. The apartment is equipped with bed linen, kitchen linen and towels. After your trip, you can lie down in the wonderfully made beds. Minimum 11 nights bookable. For questions and/or comments, a Dutch-speaking manager is always present or available.
Because our apartment is located in the region, where the 2 large salt lakes (salinas) are located, the air in this area is known to be very clean! This area is therefore very popular with the elderly and sick with all kinds of chronic health complaints, such as heart and rheumatism patients, skin conditions, muscle diseases or high blood pressure. This environment promotes health due to the relatively high concentrations of iodine in the air due to the presence of the salt lakes. This has been confirmed by WHO. That is also why it is very nice to spend the winter in our apartment, to experience for yourself what this climate does to you!
Residence

Located in a quiet area (Aguas Nuevas) on the outskirts of the bustling resort of Torrevieja, where there is always something to do. On the corner of the residence is a small shopping center with a large Mercadonna, some restaurants, a bakery (fresh bread) with an outdoor terrace for a drink, Flemish pharmacy, Chinese shop and a Manper supermarket. During your stay you can make free use of the beautifully maintained large communal swimming pool. Unfortunately, burkinis and other covering swimwear are not allowed in the pool. Unique is the free padel court and mini golf (rackets, sticks and balls are available in the apartment). In the middle, protected by all the houses, there is a children's playground. This complex Varudi 28 is completely fenced. This is definitely a great place to be! With sun all day on the roof terrace. Several golf courses within a short distance.
Environment
Our apartment is quietly located, but within walking distance there are many sights. Just 1.5 kilometers away is the sea and the impressive beach of La Mata. At 400 meters there is a large Aquapark, a fair, a large weekly market and a large sports complex with sports fields, football, basketball, rugby and an Olympic swimming pool with outdoor and indoor pools. The beautiful indoor shopping center Habaneras with major brands such as ZARA and H&M is 1 kilometer away, where a Belgian general practitioner is also located. It is possible to walk to one of the beaches or to the center of Torrevieja. However, the city bus stops at the corner. There is a "market" on the promenade of Torrevieja. In a 3-minute drive you are at the international hospital Quiron. Just a 5-minute drive away are the famous salt lakes that can be visited free of charge and about 10 minutes away are the large golf courses. Alicante airport is a 45-minute drive from the apartment, pick-up and drop-off service is available.
Torrevieja
Torrevieja is located directly on the Mediterranean Sea, 40 kilometers south of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. The municipality is 71 square kilometers in size and has more than 104,000 inhabitants. Torrevieja has 20 kilometers of coastline, many of which are sandy beaches (playa) and creeks (cala). This seaside resort has all the necessary amenities such as banks, shops, bars, restaurants and large supermarkets. This region is very well known for its 2 salt lakes, the Salinas of Torrevieja and La Mata. The salt lakes are known for their healing effect and relief from the pains. Throughout the year, this area offers a warm and mild climate, which contributes to the popularity of this region. In the winter months, the temperature can still rise to well over 20 degrees, so an excellent place to spend the winter!
