'Opposite' from the apartment complex - about 7 min. walk away is a supermarket 'Mas y Mas' - a Belgian butcher- bakery- laundromat.
It is a cozy Spanish place with nice restaurants - cheap and exclusive, also Spanish terraces and a cozy square. Meanwhile, the town is expanding considerably and there is also a lot of new construction in development.
There is a GP-police station and the town hall which also has a lot of information about festivities - the Spaniards like to do that.
By car there is a lot in a 15-20 min. such as beautiful large and small beaches, several beautiful golf courses and shopping centers such as a large La Zenia in Torrevieja which is well worth a visit.

San Miguel is close to the famous salt lakes that provide a healthy living environment, which is known worldwide as 'the healthiest place in Europe'
