In July 2024 we became the proud owners of Villa Vino Pedrequer! After we first completely adapted the independent upstairs apartment to current standards, we have been busy with the independent downstairs apartment since September. Both apartments have new bathrooms (3 in total), new kitchens (2 in total), new air conditioning units (5 in total). Our villa is ideal for a wonderful holiday with 2 families while still guaranteeing the necessary privacy. In July and August we only rent out our complete villa (8 people) and in May, June and September it is also possible to rent only the upstairs apartment.

There are countless beautiful walks to be made in the immediate vicinity. Less than fifteen minutes away is Denia. A bustling fishing village/city with many nice and good restaurants and a large shopping street. In the other direction is Javea with the beautiful beach of Arenal. There are also many restaurants, bars and shops. Is it unexpectedly cloudy for a day? Then the large shopping center offers a lot of entertainment! There is also a fitness and a padel court at the shopping center.

We have been living in Spain for the most part since January and we really like it! Life is good and relaxed. We would like to share this nice place with you. Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

Additional information

Pedreguer is a quiet authentic Spanish village with nice restaurants and bars. There are a number of supermarkets including a Dutch supermarket. From Pedreguer you can drive to the beautiful beaches and bustling fishing town of Denia or to beautiful Javea in just fifteen minutes. On Mondays there is a nice market in Denia and on Sundays there is a market in Pedreguer itself. The market on Saturday in Xalo is also recommended! Xalo also has a nice bodega where you can do a wine tasting. There are beautiful walks in the nearby area and there is a huge shopping center in Ondara (5 minutes' drive). In short, there is a lot to experience here!

In Javea, the beach of El Arenal is very nice, but be sure to go to El Mirador in Javea for a lunch with a view. At the lighthouse you have an amazing view over the sea. The food in El Mirador is also fine!

We always love to go to Oliva! There is a freshwater river that flows into the sea and our dog loves to swim there. We also like to play golf in Oliva. Do you want to learn? That's possible too! Book a number of private lessons (per hour 70 euros) with Kiko the golf pro.

In Spain there is a real lunch culture! Many restaurants have a menu del dia for under 20 euros. We think Basta! in the port of Denia a lovely place to have lunch on Sunday. Often there is live music after lunch from about 5 o'clock. Enough! can be found on the pier in Denia

In Jalon (Xalo) there is a very nice antique market on Saturdays and opposite the market is a very nice pub with a large outdoor terrace where there is live music from about 12 o'clock. You can have a great lunch there and the Bodega Xalo is also recommended! Delicious wine and delicacies

Pedreguer is very centrally located for all kinds of fun trips! Alicante and Valencia are an hour away. It is also nice to go to Valencia by train from Gandia. No parking stress and the costs are about 12 euros pp (return ticket). The station is located in the heart of the city centre. Denia is also worth a visit. Not only the center but also the pier in the marina are nice. You will find numerous restaurants. Enough! (international with an Asian twist) is our favorite, but also The Cut (Steakhouse), Replublic (international) and Mala Vita (tapas). The route through the mountains to Javea (Xabia) is beautiful to drive. If you are an experienced cyclist you can also cycle it. In the center of Javea you will find nice shops and a wide variety of restaurants. We like to come (in winter) with our dog on the beach of Arenal. This is not allowed in the summer. However, you can have a great beach day there
