Welcome to Casa de Alegria Retreat! Our place in paradise to share with you. Nestled in the tranquil mountains of Monte Pedreguer, we are 15 min drive from the busy tourist centers and beaches of The Marina Alta area of North Costa Blanca by the Mediterranean Sea. We enjoy a microclimate in this area which makes it one of the healthiest places to live in Europe.

Discover the comfort of our self-contained 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment, thoughtfully designed for your relaxation and sanctuary during your stay. In the bedroom, you have a choice of Super King or Twin beds (photos show both options). There is seating and a coffee table/laptop stand within the bedroom. We have a well-equipped kitchen, and bathroom with shower. We are all about outdoor living in nature so you can use the outdoor kitchen/bar & BBQ area, pick organic seasonal fruit (without pesticides) and dine under the stars. It is the perfect place to be connected with nature for total relaxation. You can use the shaded outdoor gym, dart board, table tennis (ping pong) and we have options for you to take Yoga classes in our small studio in the grounds of the garden.

GUEST ACCESS
The 31m2 apartment is located under the main house where your hosts live. Access to the apartment is through a front gate shared with your hosts. The path to your apartment door is in a different direction to the hosts. There is ample on-street parking.

The 8x4m swimming pool and patio area (which includes the outdoor kitchen/bar & BBQ) is solely for guest use. Your hosts have access to walk through this area to the gym (which is kept to a minimum during your stay). There is only 1 guest apartment on the property, meaning your comfort and enjoyment are our priorities. Everything you see in the photos, you have access to, there is another part of the garden next to the entrance that is for hosts only.

A car is advised due to the remote location. The nearest supermarket is in the town of Pedreguer which is 7 mins drive away or 45mins walking on a steep paved path down the mountain. In Pedreguer there are a couple of taxi companies that generally require advance booking.

AIR CONDITIONING
We have air conditioning within the apartment for your comfort during the summer months.

FREE INTERNET and WI-FI
We offer free wi-fi throughout the apartment and some of the garden space. There is an ethernet cable to connect to a laptop.

FREE ECO PERSONAL HYGIENE and CLEANING PRODUCTS
We supply free eco personal hygiene and cleaning products comprised of organic soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and eco toilet paper. The products that we provide are eco-friendly and some of them are home made.

FREE BED LINEN and TOWELS
We don’t believe in charging extras so bed linen, towels and beach towels are supplied at no extra cost and changed weekly for longer stays.

WASHING MACHINE AND TUMBLE DRYER
We have a washing machine (with bio detergent and softener) and a tumble dryer available for a small fee.

FREE CLEANING
We don’t believe in charging extra for cleaning, however we expect you to leave the apartment as you found it otherwise an additional fee will be charged.

ELECTRICITY & GAS CHARGES (Utilities)
We don’t believe in charging extra for utilities as not everyone uses the air conditioning, heaters or bbq, however if you do use these utilities, please consider leaving a donation in the honesty jar within the apartment.

WELCOME PACK
We provide a welcome pack of water, tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, herbs and spices. Additionally, for stays of 7 nights and over, we provide plant based milk and a bottle of wine, so you can make yourself at home straight away.

BIKE FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATON
For cycling enthusiasts, we offer secure storage space outside the apartment to store your bikes, allowing you to explore the wider picturesque surroundings with ease.

WORKATION
We encourage longer community stays and offer several seating and workstation options for you to work remotely on your laptop, inside the apartment and outside in the gardens.

OUTDOOR GYM & PERSONAL TRAINING
Make use of our well-equipped shaded outdoor gym featuring. We have a Personal Trainer within our community who is available with advance booking.

YOGA STUDIO
Enjoy a relaxing Yoga class during your stay. We have a small Yoga studio (for up to 4 people) in the grounds of the garden with a weekly group class timetable of varying Yoga styles including beginners. We have options for you to join the Yoga community by advance booking into a group or private class, price available on request.

MENTORING

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

A 15% non-refundable deposit is due to us within 48 hours. Your booking is not confirmed until we have received the deposit into our bank account.

For stays of 10 days or less tourism regulations will apply (Tourist Contract), Law 15/2018 and Decree 10/2021 GVA and for stays of more than 11 days the Urban Letting regulations will apply (Seasonal Contract).

House Rules:

Only guests named on the booking are allowed onto the premises. No parties for groups at any time.

We have a legal obligation to register ALL guests with the national police in Spain. After booking, we require the following information:

Any damage by the guests should be reported as it happens during your stay, any damage by the guests must be reimbursed before checkout.

We live in a quiet residential area therefore, we ask you to observe the quiet times from 22:00 to 08:00.

Swimming pool opening times 08:00 to 22:00. There is no railing around the pool with more than a 1.4, drop, do not walk around the edge or step on the roof of the Yoga Studio. Inflatables are allowed in the pool.

Use the outdoor shower before using the swimming pool to make sure there is no residue of suncreams and oils in the swimming pool. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if the pool waterline is stained by the use of suncreams and oils.

The swimming pool is cleaned once or twice per week and the gardens are watered and maintained during your stay.

Your hosts have access to the Yoga Studio and Gym at the bottom of the garden during your stay. Yoga clients have access to the studio via the garden to the side of the swimming pool and patio area. A timetable is available in advance of your stay.

No smoking anywhere in the apartment or the gardens.
