In Orihuela Costa (Torrevieja) in a unique location between Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca. Here you will find this nice large three-room holiday apartment with direct sea views. There is a spacious balcony and a large private roof terrace (40m2) for sunbathing. The apartment has a very good sun position on the South-East. Within the well-maintained complex there are four swimming pools. 

The apartment is located in the beautiful apartment complex La Calma, in a lively area and is fully furnished. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bed linen, towels and bath towels are provided. There is a spacious kitchen with extensive cooking utensils, oven, microwave, table grill fridge-freezer. Eating out really costs little; But the kitchen is perfectly suitable for making a good meal yourself. The consumption of water and electricity is NOT included, this will be charged separately (meter available). There is (free) fast Internet with 5G Wifi and Smart TV with all Dutch and International channels. Of course there is also a coffee (cup) machine, kettle, a washer / dryer and of course a good air conditioning. 

Directly across the street is a large supermarket. Within a radius of 100 to 200 meters you will find a Burger King, banks, ATM, many restaurants, bars, terraces, karting, mini golf, tennis, gym, gas station (electric charging), bus stop and more. Shopping centers such as Las Habeneras and La Zenia Boulevard can be found, as well as the beaches a short distance away. At a slightly wider distance there are also various tennis and golf options. 

Are you coming with your own car or do you rent one on site? The holiday home has its own covered private parking space within the complex (no extra costs). Bicycles can be stored within the secure complex. There are also possibilities to rent an electric bicycle. 

The apartment is officially registered with the Spanish government and has a mandatory tourist rental license with number VT-(*CONTENT HIDDEN*)-A.

Orihuela Costa borders Torrevieja and is located on the Costa Blanca South, about 40 kilometers from Alicante airport. On the Orihuela Costa you will find the beaches of Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. Orihuela Costa , together with Torrevieja, forms a very popular holiday resort with a lively nightlife all year round. In the vicinity are several tennis courts and golf courses such as Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin.

El Canario Azul and the surrounding area

Within the well-maintained residence, there are four swimming pools and large gardens with ample sun and shaded areas. The beaches of Playa Flamenca beach and Punta Prima are a short distance away. Within Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja there are several beaches, such as the famous "Playa del Cura" and "Playa Los Locas". There are also plenty of local shopping centers. It is estimated that there are more than 1,000 restaurants and terraces in Orihuela Costa and its immediate surroundings. Golf resorts with 18 holes can be found in the Villa Martin, which is a little further away, about 15 minutes by car

Right opposite the apartment is the Lidl supermarket and the Euro Bazar superstore. 50 meters away is a small shopping center with another supermarket. There is a bank, ATM, terraces, restaurants, a Burger King, a gym, mini golf, a gas station (also electric charging), bus stop and much more. 

At 200 meters distance from the apartment is also a nice complex with about 40 restaurants, from cheap to more expensive, but still cheap. Where else can you find a dish of the day under a tenner and a beer for less than two euros? So here! There is also a hairdresser, a dentist, a veterinarian and a number of other shops here. 

Within the immediate vicinity of the apartment is also the well-known "La Zenia Boulevard" where numerous large and smaller shops are located. C&A, H&M, Primark and many other well-known businesses. La Zenia Boulevard also has an extensive range of terraces and restaurants. There is a very large underground parking garage with lifts and roller tracks, which runs under the entire complex. Parking is free everywhere, including in the parking garages and even on the beach.

Every Saturday there is the large Playa Flamenca street market close to the apartment, with many hundreds of stalls on both sides over a length of more than a kilometer. Every day there is something to do in the immediate vicinity.

Hello, we are Ans van Doorne and Arnold Wagener. We bought this nice apartment on the Orihuela Costa in August 2023. We then renewed a lot and made the apartment completely holiday and rental ready. We have an official rental license. There is also a local Dutch administrator.

A nice complex with four swimming pools and direct sea views. Beaches, restaurants, shops, Golf resorts with 18 holes, La Zenia Boulevard, Supermarket, bus stop everything close by

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Payment conditions

Upon acceptance of the booking, you will receive a rental agreement and a payment request. After that, you must pay 25% of the total rental amount via Micazu's secure payment environment within 8 days after booking/reservation. Your payment statement with the rental agreement is your reservation confirmation.

The remainder of the booking amount must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the stay, also via Micazu's secure payment environment. For bookings within 8 weeks before the start of your stay, the full rental amount must be paid. Payment must be made by bank. 

Cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
  • cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
  • cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
  • Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

Location & area recommendations

Additional information

This is an overview photo of the La Calma complex, of which our apartment is a part. Our apartment is at the front and has a full sea view. The sun faces south-east, on the balcony and roof terrace there is sun all day! There are four swimming pools.
There is a catering complex with approximately 40 restaurants 200 meters from our nice holiday apartment. Prices are cheap, to slightly more expensive, but still cheap.

The Chinese restaurant Boa Zai House in this complex is highly recommended. If you arrive before 8 p.m. you can enjoy a three-course menu with half a bottle of delicious wine or another drink of your choice for €12.95 per person. If you arrive after 8 p.m., you pay €2.00 more. (Price March 2024)

There are also several other nice restaurants where you can enjoy delicious and varied food. A little closer, about 50 meters away, there is also a Burger King and a cozy bar with terrace.
About a kilometer away (at the next roundabout) you will find the Punta Prima Commercial Center. There are dozens of restaurants. There is even a McDonalds with the Mc-drive. There is a spacious parking lot.

In and around this Center you will find various shops, a large supermarket, a pharmacy, a hair salon, a car rental company and various other things.

Two recommendations located above the Center (elevator and escalator): The Captain's Table, an English restaurant with a large terrace where you can enjoy a delicious meal for less than €10.00. You can also go there (even until 4 p.m.) for a particularly delicious and extensive English breakfast.

In addition, the Italian restaurant La Piazza, opposite, is also recommended, also with a large terrace, where you can enjoy a delicious meal for a nice price. From a fresh Pizza around € 10.00 to delicious Italian top dishes for a price that you can only dream of in the Netherlands.

There are also many other restaurants on the other side of the road around the Center.
The nice, quiet Playa Flamenca beach is located approximately 700 meters from the holiday apartment. The beach has a toilet group, a lifeguard and is accessible to the disabled. There is access far to the beach and there are sufficient (free) parking spaces for disabled people. The number of other parking spaces at the beach are (just like everywhere) limited.

As with other beaches in Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja, there are no sunbeds or umbrellas for rent. You must therefore bring this yourself. In Orihuela Costa you will find Chinese superstores everywhere where you can purchase a beach chair and parasol for a relatively low price.

You will not find catering anywhere on most beaches, except for the boulevard of the always busy Playa del Cura beach in Torrevieja. So just like before, bring your own drinks. In our apartment you will also find a cool box with cooling elements.
