Villa Jules is a beautiful detached villa with private pool and stunning sea views. It is located in a beautiful and quiet residential area with a view of the center of Moraira and the sea. The town centre of Moraira and the beach are only a 10 minute walk away which is a great advantage of this house.
The layout of the house is as follows:
Through the driveway you enter the garden where there is enough space to park several cars on site. Here is the front door which provides access to the hall where there is a coat rack. In the hall is a separate toilet, access to the living room, access to the kitchen and a staircase down. The living room is bright and tastefully decorated. There is a large television with satellite connection (TV Vlaanderen with Belgian channels and the Dutch channels NPO1, 2 and 3 and BVN) and a radio. Here is also the dining area with a dining table for 6 people and access to the partly open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, etc.).
From all rooms you have sea views in this villa. The bedroom windows have shutters and mosquito netting and all bedrooms have air conditioning for those warm summer nights. From the dining area you walk onto the terrace where you can sit with 6 people. In the photo there are two tables against each other, but a table can be added so that 6 people can eat on the upper terrace.
The stairs lead down to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are two bedrooms with double beds (180 x 200 m) and 1 bedroom with a French bed. 1 or 2 smaller people could sleep here. There is also the possibility to place a separate baby cot.
There are two bathrooms: 1 bathroom has a bath/shower combination, a toilet and a sink. The other bathroom has a shower, W.C. and a sink.
The private swimming pool is beautifully located in front of the house, also with a view of the sea. From the bedrooms you can walk straight onto the terrace by the pool. The pool is also accessible from the living room/dining area via the external stairs from the terrace or via the garden. Due to the location of the house, you have sun all day long, even in winter. There are sunbeds by the pool and there is a sitting area. There is a parasol and you can also sit in the shade of the pine tree that stands in the garden. In the garden next to the house is a covered patio built with a dining table and chairs and a large BBQ. Here is also an outdoor fridge. At this place you will enjoy many sultry summer evenings enjoying the BBQ with a delicious sangria or cava. Groceries are not expensive here. This also applies to eating out.
Cat Juliette
A sweet little kitten lives in the garden of Villa Jules. She is originally a stray cat, but we now take care of her and the garden of Villa Jules is now her home. People who find it annoying that there is a kitten in the garden should not rent Villa Jules. She is not allowed in the house and she knows it.
We make sure there is food for Juliette and ask our guests to feed her every day. Everyone who has been to Villa Jules falls in love with her, even people who don't like cats. :-)
Moraira
Moraira is a lovely village/town. According to some it is a fashionable seaside resort and others call it the Saint-Tropez of Spain, but we just think it is very beautiful and cozy and feel at home here. There are many restaurants, several bays and beaches and no high-rise buildings. In winter, life goes on as usual and it is not deserted as many coastal towns are in winter. In the summer it is pleasantly busy, but it remains nice and 'village-like'. And perhaps the biggest advantage: the weather is always nice here.
There are various water sports options, hiking trails and perfect mountain bike trails. About an hour's drive away are the beautiful cities of Valencia and Alicante that are well worth a visit. And towards Benidorm, there are water parks that the children love. More in the immediate vicinity, a visit to the Jalon valley, the waterfalls of Algar, a visit to a wine farm, shopping in the beautiful shopping mall or the many markets, etc. And we could go on like this for a while.
But there is really nothing wrong with just lying by the pool or enjoying the beach and then eating an ice cream at Tutto Frutto in the center. It's vacation and then everything goes!
