Casa Leon is a beautifully decorated and attractive house. When you walk in, you immediately feel good. The guests who have stayed in this house so far all describe it as very cozy, clean and well cared for. A large proportion of tenants return.
The house is in a good location and only 2.4 km from the main beach of Moraira "Playa de l'Ampolla". According to Maps, this is a 28-minute walk on foot. It is 3 minutes by car and you can park for free at the beach and also free at the center of Moraira, which is also a 3-minute drive. In the vicinity you will find beautiful bays with beach bars or cozy chiringuitos (beach bars).
The house is wonderfully light with large windows and an unobstructed view. It is a semi-detached house, but because of the way it is built, the house has a lot of privacy.
The sun position is very good, even in winter. In the morning there is direct sun on the terrace near the living room. During the day the sun turns to the other part of the terrace, so you have sun all day long. You can catch the very last rays of sunshine on the roof terrace where there is a lounge set.
There is a private garden, private terraces (also a private roof terrace), sea views and a very nice large shared swimming pool . It is always quiet at the pool, even in summer. Moreover, everyone takes each other into account. You can place Casa Leon's sunbeds by the pool.
Casa Leon has sleeping space for 4 people. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with large beds. The Master bedroom has a large bed of 200 x 200 cm. According to the guests who have slept here, it is a wonderful bed. The other bedroom has 2 beds, each 90 x 200 cm. Both bedrooms have air conditioning , mosquito netting and shutters. The bathroom has 2 sinks, a bath/shower and a separate toilet.
You enter the house via a number of steps, where everything else is on one floor. You can park your car covered on site. The living room with open kitchen and dining area feels very cozy and homely. There are 2 large sofas where everyone can sit comfortably.
Everything is available in the kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, etc.). Via the semi-covered terrace near the living room you can take stairs to the garden and swimming pool or take stairs up to your own roof terrace. You have a sea view from the terrace near the living room and from the roof terrace.
You can also use the garden at the house. There are sunbeds and a table with chairs.
The house has WiFi, a large TV (only Spanish channels!), a DVD player with several good films and surround sound. There is also a corner with Dutch books and magazines that you can use.
Tip: you can watch Dutch television in Spain via your Dutch television provider's app (Ziggo, KPN) via your subscription in the Netherlands. You can connect your tablet or smartphone to the television via a Chromecast (can be rented from us). So it's worth finding out.
Casa Leon is a wonderful summer house, but also ideal for a winter stay. Thanks to the semi-covered sheltered terrace and the good sun position, you can quickly sit outside in winter as soon as there is sun (in Moraira the sun shines more than 300 days a year!).
In addition, the house has a very well-functioning wood stove, 2 mobile electric radiators, bathroom heating and hot/cold air conditioning in the bedrooms.
This really is a wonderful luxury house for a very good price!
In our opinion, a must for people who like a cozy and attractive home.
Moraira is traditionally a fishing village that has adapted to modern times. There are many restaurants, bars, terraces and almost everyone who comes here on holiday comes back. Even in the winter, life continues here as usual: there is live music in various pubs, a market on Friday mornings and most restaurants and terraces are open as usual in the winter.
