Casa Leon is a cosily furnished and attractive house. When you come in, it immediately feels good. The guests who have stayed in this house so far all describe it as very cozy, clean and well cared for. A large proportion of the tenants are coming back.
The house is in a good location and only 2.4 km from the main beach of Moraira "Playa de l'Ampolla". On foot, according to Maps, this is a 28-minute walk. By car it is 3 minutes and you can park for free at the beach and also for free at the center of Moraira which is also a 3 minute drive. In the vicinity you will find beautiful bays with beach bars or cozy chiringuitos (beach bars).
The house is wonderfully light with large windows and an unobstructed view. It is a semi-detached house but because of the way it is built, the house has a lot of privacy.
The sun position is very good, even in winter. In the morning there is direct sun on the terrace near the living room. During the day, the sun turns to the other part of the terrace, so you have sun all day long. You can catch the very last rays of sunshine on the roof terrace.
There is a private garden, private terraces (also private roof terrace), sea views and a very nice large shared swimming pool. It is always quiet by the pool, even in summer. Moreover, everyone takes each other into account. You can put the sunbeds of Casa Leon by the pool, but please take them back at the end of the day.
Casa Leon sleeps 4 people. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with large beds. The master bedroom has a large bed of 200 x 200 cm. According to the guests who have slept here, it is a lovely bed. The other bedroom has 2 beds of 90 x 200 cm each. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, mosquito nets and shutters. The bathroom has 2 sinks, a bath/shower and a separate toilet. In the bathroom you will also find a washing machine.
A number of steps lead to the house where everything else is on 1 floor. You can park your car on site under cover. The living room with open kitchen and dining area feels very cozy and homely. There are 2 large sofas where everyone can sit comfortably.
Everything is available in the kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, etc.) Through the semi-covered terrace in the living room you can take a staircase to the garden and pool or a staircase to your own roof terrace. You have a sea view from the terrace near the living room and from the roof terrace.
You can also use the garden at the house.
The house has WiFi, a large TV (Spanish channels only!), a DVD player with various good movies and surround sound sound. There is also a corner with Dutch books and magazines that you can use.
Tip: via the app of your Dutch television provider (Ziggo, KPN) you can watch Dutch television in Spain via your subscription in the Netherlands. You can connect your tablet or smartphone to the television via a Chromecast (available for rent through us). So it's worth finding out.
Casa Leon is a lovely summer house, but also ideal for a winter stay. Due to the semi-covered sheltered terrace and the good sun position, you can sit outside in winter as soon as there is a sun (in Moraira the sun shines more than 300 days a year!).
In addition, the house has a very good working wood stove, 2 mobile electric radiators, bathroom heating and air conditioning hot / cold in the bedrooms.
This is a really lovely house for a very good price!
As far as we are concerned, a must for people who like a cozy and attractive home.
Moraira has traditionally been a fishing village that has adapted to modern times. There are many restaurants, bars, terraces and almost everyone who comes here on holiday comes back. Even in winter, life goes on here: there is live music in various pubs, market on Friday mornings and most restaurants and terraces are open in winter.
