Casa Leja Moraira is a beautiful villa equipped with all comforts and amenities.

From the very large naya there are beautiful sea views and views of the village of Moraira. In addition, it is very easily accessible and within walking distance (20 min) of shops, restaurants and the beach of Moraira. Some supermarkets such as the Pepe la Sal are already 600 m away. 

The villa is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of greenery. The spacious subtropical garden around has several terraces to eat, drink and enjoy the peace and quiet and the swimming pool. 

You enter the villa through a large hall and through the ensuite doors you go to the spacious cozy living-dining room with Dutch television, free wifi and air conditioning. In addition, there is a large full kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and oven.

There are 6 sleeping places; a spacious bedroom (180x200) with air conditioning and spacious ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. In addition, there are two spacious bedrooms (160x200) with air conditioning and a separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. 

From the very spacious covered terrace (the Naya) with lovely garden furniture and dining table you can enjoy the fantastic view of the sea, the vineyards of the village of Moraira while enjoying a snack and a drink. Here you will also find the Weber BBQ.

Around the pool, you can relax on the attractive terrace on one of the sunbeds in the sun or in the shade of the parasols. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool.

There is ample parking for several cars on the villa's private driveway. This is closed with an electric gate.

All rooms are on 1 floor.

The cozy center of Moraira is 1.7 km from Casa Leja (20 minutes walk). Here you will find cozy shopping streets, nice terraces and beautiful beaches. The small beach (at El Portet) is a nice place for snorkeling. The large beach (l'Ampollo) can be found near the center of Moraira. There is a large free parking lot nearby, where there is always enough space.

The golf enthusiasts among us can go to Club Ifach just 3 kilometers away. You don't have to drive far for the larger supermarkets either. For example, you will find the Lidl, MasyMas and Pepe la Sal at a maximum distance of 2 km.

Our villa is wonderful to enjoy the beautiful weather and the surroundings in the summer, but also out of season it is comfortable in every season due to the hot/cold air conditioning.

We are Jan and Marjolein Verweij. Since 2009 years we have been coming with great pleasure to our own holiday home in this beautiful fishing village of Moraira. We have been the owner of Casa Leja since March 2025 and that really feels like a second home to us. We can be found here as much as possible, but we both also have our work in the Netherlands. In the period that we are not there, you can enjoy our house.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The booking is final as soon as the deposit of 40% of the rental price has been transferred. The remaining part (and the deposit) must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure.

For rental periods of longer than 3 weeks and winter visitors, we can of course apply special rates. 

Cancellation costs: 

  • Cancellation up to 28 days before the start of the rental period: 40% of the rental price.
  • Cancellation within 28 days or later before the start of the rental period: the total amount.
  • We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance and cancellation insurance.

Arrival from 16.00h

Arrival before 16.00h: If the house is available, you can, in consultation, move into the house earlier. 

Departure before 10.00 am. If the house is available, you can stay longer, in consultation. We reserve the right to charge costs between €5 and €10 per hour.

For arrivals and departures before 8 am, after 9 pm and on Sundays there is a surcharge of €50,-.

WIFI, Satellite TV included.

Camping cot and high chair available and on request.

Additional information

The old fishing village of Moraira is located on the Costa Blanca in Spain and is one of the nicest places along this popular coastal region. Moraira forms a municipality together with the inland Teulada. Where Teulada is a rather quiet village where mainly people living from the agricultural sector live, so lively is the fishing village of Moraira. The nice thing about Moraira is that tourism has not ruined the place. Here you will not find large hotels or apartment complexes and the marina is used for what it is meant for: for yachts and boats. The image Club Nautico is not disturbed by providers of cruises, banana rides or other tourist activities.The center of Moraira is located directly at the fishing harbor, where you will find a fish auction next to the fishing boats where you can buy fresh fish daily, also as a tourist. If you do not want to prepare fish yourself, you can also enjoy the catch of the day in the many restaurants in the center of Moraira and along the coastal road to Calpe. The center of Moraira consists of approximately twenty streets that are mainly filled with restaurants, bars, shops, estate agents and residential complexes of a maximum of 4 to 5 storeys high. The streets are partly accessible only to pedestrians, which benefits the atmosphere of the center. Whoever walks through Moraira feels that the atmosphere is more agreeable here than in larger towns in the area such as Benidorm, Altea. You also notice that the restaurants here on average are of a higher level, both in terms of food and the prices you pay for it. Luckily it does not look like places like Marbella or Cannes where the rich want to challenge each other with expensive cars and ditto yachts. Here you will find life lovers who earn more than average on average. The tourists come mainly from Spain, Germany, England, Belgium and the Netherlands. Especially in the high season you regularly meet fellow countrymen here.
