An oasis of peace in the interior of Alicante
The holiday cottage ´La Ruina´ is a place to enjoy eco & chic, all the beauty that the Costa Blanca has to offer. This restored sheep barn is located outside the bustle of the Costa Blanca and is situated in a beautiful setting on the edge of the nature reserve around the Sierra de Bernia. Total rest is guaranteed here. This rural cottage is surrounded by 22 hectares of land and has a lovely swimming pool. After a scenic drive through the mountains you arrive at the main house of a large finca via the driveway. From the place where you park the car it is about 150 meters on foot to the small paradise that surrounds the cottage La Ruina.
This cottage is also an ideal location for an active, cycling, hiking or rock climbing holiday
In front of the house there is a terrace where you can relax and you are surrounded by only nature and tranquility. On this terrace is the front door that opens into the cozy, airy living / dining room where there is a difference in height between the sitting area and the dining area. In the summer there is enough shade for the cottage under the bamboo 's tree' which gives a nice filtered light. The cottage has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower. Above the dining area is a small sleeping loft where the two of you can sleep snugly under the well insulated roof. This sleeping loft is accessible via a steel staircase.
From the kitchen there is a hallway which gives access to the cozy double bedroom where you can see the rocks where the old sheepfold is built, all in all a rustic and earthy experience in the middle of the mountains of Alicante.
