Welcome to Casa La Gaviota, a lovely spacious holiday villa with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea located in the most sought-after location of Jávea: on a cliff 100 meters above the sea, perfectly between the bays of Granadella and Ambolo. This south-facing house is tastefully and harmoniously furnished and has a spacious living area with a modern, fully equipped kitchen with American fridge, covered terrace, 4 bedrooms with 4 en suite bathrooms, which can accommodate 10 people. From every room in this villa you have open sea views!

The privacy in this house is total, there is no view from neighbors or from the street. The silence and tranquility stand out here, you can hear the soothing murmur of the sea.

The house is the ideal base for a holiday where you can discover the area with its many nice villages, beautiful nature or just relax at one of the beautiful bays in the region. Cycling enthusiasts can explore to their heart's content, the Jalon valley with the famous Coll de Rates or Coll de la Vall d'Ebo is less than 40 km away. You can walk to your heart's content in the 750 ha Granadella nature reserve at 2 km. Have a nice chat in Jávea or, for example, the nearby villages of Altea or Denia. For the larger culture, this holiday villa is centrally located between Valencia at 110 km to the north and Alicante at 90 km to the south. Casa La Gaviota is a non-smoking property where pets are not allowed.

Indoor area

The entire house is rented out and consists of 3 levels. From every room you can enjoy a premium view of the Mediterranean Sea!

The main floor:

  • The living room with open kitchen and covered terrace
  • 2 bedrooms each with a double bed with en suite bathroom
  • Spacious terrace with shade cloth, covered bar and XL lounger

Master bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, bathroom, separate toilet and sun terrace with dining table and sunbeds.

The house has no air conditioning because the many windows provide natural air flow, making it pleasant inside, even on the hottest days.

Fans are available for each bedroom. There is no central heating in the house, in winter the house heats up by the sun on the many windows and for the chilly evenings there is a wood stove with wood. Your stay is equipped with 4 smart TVs.

Outdoor area

  • Around the house are several large and smaller terraces on the different levels of the house, plants and trees provide a Mediterranean holiday atmosphere.
  • At the front of the sea is the main terrace with large swimming pool (10x5)
  • Outdoor shower, sunbeds, umbrellas, dining table and outdoor kitchen and BBQ located under large shade cloth
  • Shaded terrace to the side of the house with dining table, covered bar with sunbed
  • The master bedroom has a spacious terrace with beautiful sea views, dining table, 2 sunbeds and the last sun of the day
  • 2 bedrooms share a smaller terrace to greet the day
  • An external staircase leads from the living area to the large terrace with swimming pool, sunbeds
  • Parking for several cars at the house; From where you reach the house via stairs.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The reservation is only valid after payment of 50% of the total price within 3 days after reservation, otherwise the reservation will expire. (Total price = Price + deposit)

The balance must be paid 45 days before the date of arrival.

Check-out before 10.00 am

A late checkout is possible for a fee in consultation.

The houses we rent out are (renovated) with great attention and decorated with love. We therefore ask that the items are handled neatly and responsibly. Partly out of respect for the neighbors and residents, it is not a party home.

Smoking and pets are not allowed.

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge

Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

Cancellation between the 60th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price

cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

Free cancellation by the tenant is only possible if it is forbidden by the government to travel to Spain and back to the Netherlands and in case of health problems of one of the travelers in the group (in consultation). In that case, 100% of the (down) payment will be returned to the tenant.
