In the winter period you can heat in 3 ways:
1) via air/heating system (electric)
2) via central heating (work on propane gas bottles: comfortable, but not cheap)
3) via pellet stove (efficient, cozy and cheap)
I opt for a pellet stove in the winter and an occasional air conditioning/heating system when it is chilly in the early and late season.
