This large villa in the style of a Spanish country house is ideal for a holiday with a larger group, such as a special family celebration, sports groups (cycling, yoga, hiking) or simply a large group of friends who want to spend quality time together. We immediately fell in love with "Sobre Las Rocas" and would like to give others the opportunity to enjoy a stay in this spacious house. The house is located in a very quiet area on a plot of 2000 m².
"Sobre Las Rocas" is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Spain with many small beaches and rocky coves, but also beautiful old villages and towns such as Altea, Benissa, Javea and Moraira, where you can stroll through a market and admire and visit the typical Spanish streets with original shops, bars and restaurants.
From the house you have fantastic views of the sea and the Peñon de Ifach of Calpe. The house is close to a small harbour "Les Bassetes" and a romantic small sandy beach "La Fustera", which you can reach in 20 minutes on foot. The well-known seaside resort of Calpe with its large sandy beaches, cozy promenades and many nice bars and restaurants can be reached by car in 5 to 10 minutes. The nearest large sandy beach of Calpe (Playa de la Fossa) is only 2.7 km away and can also be reached on foot via the beautiful hiking trail directly along the coast. The nearby restaurants in Calpe are also within walking distance (1.2 km). So a car is not absolutely necessary, but definitely recommended. There are many supermarkets, in Calpe, but also along the coastal road from Calpe to Moraira. The beautiful town of Moraira can be reached by car in a quarter of an hour (9 km), where you can enjoy the wonderful views of the sea while driving on the coastal road.
The house has 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, of which 5 bathrooms are directly adjacent to the bedroom, 2 bathrooms belong to 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor, 1 additional bathroom is located near the pool terrace. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Around the house there is plenty of space for leisure activities such as table tennis, badminton, jeux de boules or darts. The day can be started with a cup of coffee from the fully automatic coffee machine on the large terrace while admiring the sunrise, in the evening you can make something to eat on the barbecue and make yourself comfortable with a glass of wine on one of the cozy seating areas.
The large pool provides cooling and bathing fun, and of course there are plenty of sun loungers and seating around the pool.
The house is spread over two floors and has on the first floor a large living area with an open kitchen, 3 bedrooms with French doors to the terrace and sea views, and a bedroom in the tower with a large roof terrace that offers fantastic views. In addition, there is a completely new apartment in the lower part of the house with a living room with an open kitchen and 3 bedrooms with associated bathrooms. In front of the apartment there is also a spacious terrace.
Of course, the house is equipped with internet and modern appliances such as dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, etc.
In the cooler months, the house itself has a lot to offer. There is a pellet stove made of soapstone, which provides a pleasant warmth and cozy atmosphere. There is another heating option for all rooms via the air conditioning. Large windows provide light and warmth during the day through the sun's rays. In the round fireplace you can also make a cozy wood fire. The bar in the middle of the house invites you to have a drink together. Dutch, German, English, French and Spanish programmes can be received on the TV. Streaming is also possible. The new apartment is heated with a heat pump.
