This modern apartment of 160 m2 including a partly covered large terrace of 55 m2 is located in the urbanization Altea la Nova (Calle Sondeo 9) and has the following layout:
* Three bedrooms, one of which is en suite with sliding door to the terrace.
* Two bathrooms with bath and shower.
* A spacious living room with lounge sofa and sliding doors over the entire width to the terrace.
* A fully equipped semi-open kitchen and again a view over the terrace.
* The apartment is equipped with air conditioning/heating, Wifi and satellite TV incl. all Belgian channels and many Dutch channels.
Surrounding the complex is a large communal garden that is perfectly maintained by the gardener on a daily basis. At both ends are two large swimming pools and showers.
There are beds all around for those who use the pool, shade spots can be found under the palm trees, for the children there is a special pool and in the summer months there is supervision by a lifeguard.
The large and sunny terrace with a lovely lounge set and sunbeds is ideal for sunbathing and/or having a drink with a beautiful view over Altea and the sea and in the distance the skyline of Benidorm.
At the back of the complex is the mountain Bernia. Here you can take beautiful walks and fully enjoy the peace and nature.
The apartment is located in one of the oldest towns in Spain: Altea La Vella, at the foot of the Sierra Bernia mountain range.
The spacious living terrace (55m2) gives views over the Mediterranean Sea, cliffs and the bay of Altea and Albir.
A holiday spot with a lot of variety: swimming pools in the courtyard, authentic Spanish beaches with chiringuitos where you can eat paella and tapas, a marina where the nouveau riche entrenches themselves, a lively boulevard with heladerias and palm trees and an old town center with whitewashed houses against narrow cobbled streets and a square around the ancient parish church Nuestra Señora del Consuelo with its recognizable blue domed roof.
The apartment is only a 45-minute drive from Alicante airport and strategically positioned amongst the long sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca without being touristy itself.
In Altea, no high-rise buildings are allowed, which means that large-scale hotel complexes are avoided and the place has a fashionable appearance.
The region has been designated by the World Health Organization as one of the healthiest places in the world. This is mainly due to the microclimate with the impressive amount of sunshine in this region (an average of 320 days a year). That means: long summers, but also pleasant and sunny winters. This makes Altea a suitable holiday spot for every month of the year.
