Casa Vista al Mar is located on one of the hills of Calonge in the province of Girona and is part of the municipality in the Baix Empordà in Catalonia, Spain, on the coast of the Costa Brava.

It is about 100 km across the Spanish-French border. The village of Calonge consists of two parts, a medieval hilltop village and a modern seaside resort. The main urban center and original village is located approximately 4 km inland from Sant Antoni Bay. Calonge has several urbanizations and our villa can be found in the Mas Toi district.

'Urbanización Mas Toi' in Calonge is one of the neighborhoods in Cabanyes. Our villa is located in a hilly area (H=70m) of Mas Toi and on the hill you look out over the valley and see the church of Calonge and the coast of Sant Antoni and Palamos. The villa is located at the end of a dead-end road and offers a lot of privacy, especially around the swimming pool. Despite the tranquility of nature, the vibrant Spanish life is close by.

The nearest beach of Sant Antoni is 4 km away from us as the crow flies. In the area you will find several supermarkets, beautiful beaches, picturesque bays, and many restaurants, mainly Mediterranean. Girona is the nearest airport (35min) but also Barcelona (75min).

The house has 3 uniquely decorated bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located at the front and have a sea view and a continuous balcony/terrace. In the morning you will be woken up here by the rising sun.
All three bedrooms have box-spring beds with mosquito nets and spacious fitted wardrobes. In bedroom 2 there are sports equipment and in the third bedroom an extra baby bed, ironing board (and baby chair in the garage).

The house has 2 bathrooms; In the hallway near the bedrooms is the first large bathroom with a shower/bath. There is a hairdryer in the bottom drawer of the furniture. The other recently renovated small bathroom has a walk-in shower and toilet and is accessible from the central hall. From the hall you enter the living room, which is still in the traditional Spanish style but equipped with a 6-person dining table, sofa and television. The entire house is connected to a 1Gb fiber optic network and equipped with sufficient WiFi access points (indoor and outdoor). We have a trading library and games if you want to stay home for an evening.

The veranda is built around the house and makes our Casa truly unique with many relaxing 'shade spots'. The veranda runs from the east side (kitchen) to the west side (swimming pool). On the side of the kitchen is a lovely sofa with nice cushions. In the morning you can sit here in the sun with a cup of coffee/tea and in the afternoon it is the perfect place to seek some shade. The veranda continues to the front of the house near the pool and terrace. There are two lovely relaxing armchairs on the veranda. On the terrace there is a large outdoor table with 6 chairs and parasol(s) and 4 sun loungers. (extra are in storage). There is a large hammock in the shade where you can relax. You will also find an outdoor shower by the pool. The swimming pool was converted from chlorine to salt last year.

Next to the veranda is the outdoor BBQ under the attractive grape. Make the most delicious dishes on the BBQ or try a traditional Paella. In the kitchen inside you will find everything you need for cooking. The house and swimming pool are on the same level, making everything within easy reach.
